The X Factor looks set to come under fire once again after young hopeful Luke Lucas broke down in tears during the judges' houses phase of the competition.The 16-year-old wowed the judges in his first audition and made it through boot camp, only to struggle with the pressure at Gary Barlow's home in LA.
Scenes to feature on tonight and tomorrow's show will see the teenager sobbing over his performance in front of mentor Barlow and Robbie Williams.
An insider told The Sun: "He found the pressure really difficult. He messed up one of his songs then started crying when he feared he had blown his chance.
"Gary and Robbie were really worried."
We're guessing that might be what Robbie was alluding to when he said: "Who wants to break a 16-year-old's heart?"
The talent show has already caused concern this year, with accusations of bullying stemming from Ceri Rees' fourth audition and another hopeful, Kitty Brucknell, rumoured to have been on the verge of meltdown during boot camp.
Then again, isn't it the same every year?
