The X Factor looks set to come under fire once again after young hopeful Luke Lucas broke down in tears during the judges' houses phase of the competition.

The 16-year-old wowed the judges in his first audition and made it through boot camp, only to struggle with the pressure at Gary Barlow's home in LA.

Scenes to feature on tonight and tomorrow's show will see the teenager sobbing over his performance in front of mentor Barlow and Robbie Williams.

An insider told The Sun: "He found the pressure really difficult. He messed up one of his songs then started crying when he feared he had blown his chance.

"Gary and Robbie were really worried."
We're guessing that might be what Robbie was alluding to when he said: "Who wants to break a 16-year-old's heart?"

It seems the talent show mogul's physique is no accident because he claims to have a strict fitness regime.

In an interview with People magazine, Simon said: "I'll do 500 push ups in a day religiously, and if I can I like to have a workout.
"Then I have a steam and a bath but I always have breakfast in bed."

'Course, breakfast in bed doesn't happen until the afternoon because Simon's a bit of a night owl.

"I have a weird routine," he pointed out. "I'll have a massage and then I'll have four or five beers ice cold... then I'll carry on until four or five in the morning and that kind of keeps me awake."

So what's Simon doing during the early hours? Is he worrying about how much to pay his latest ex-girlfriend, perhaps?

No, he's texting. Bet his pals just love him for that.

He's not without his issues though.

"I'm obsessed with cleanliness for myself," he explained. "So I will take a bath three times a day, sometimes a steam twice a day in addition to that.

"And the same thing in the house. I don't like clutter. That's why I think I'd find it difficult to have kids."

It's probably for the best... it doesn't sound like Simon's the early morning nappy changing type.

More from the weird world of Simon Cowell today - this time fitness.

It seems the talent show mogul's physique is no accident because he claims to have a strict fitness regime.

In an interview with People magazine, Simon said: "I'll do 500 push ups in a day religiously, and if I can I like to have a workout.
"Then I have a steam and a bath but I always have breakfast in bed."

'Course, breakfast in bed doesn't happen until the afternoon because Simon's a bit of a night owl.

"I have a weird routine," he pointed out. "I'll have a massage and then I'll have four or five beers ice cold... then I'll carry on until four or five in the morning and that kind of keeps me awake."

So what's Simon doing during the early hours? Is he worrying about how much to pay his latest ex-girlfriend, perhaps?

No, he's texting. Bet his pals just love him for that.

He's not without his issues though.

"I'm obsessed with cleanliness for myself," he explained. "So I will take a bath three times a day, sometimes a steam twice a day in addition to that.

"And the same thing in the house. I don't like clutter. That's why I think I'd find it difficult to have kids."

It's probably for the best... it doesn't sound like Simon's the early morning nappy changing type.

Leandro Penna has clearly learned nothing from his time in the UK.

Despite the endless negative press and sniping from ex-husbands, the Argentinian himbo is determined to stick with Katie Price, even if that means becoming her third husband.

Asked by The Sun whether he and Katie would be hearing the pitter patter of tiny feet any time soon, Leo responded: "Yes, we have a project of a family.

"I already have a family there. They [Katie's children] are not my sons but I treat them like they are."

Yeah... so did Alex Reid.

Still undeterred, Leandro went on: "If tomorrow we marry, it's because we feel right. I do what my feelings tell me and I want to be with Katie."
Hmm... may we suggest using your head rather than your heart on this one Leo?
