Cheryl Cole... Taio Cruz... a musical collaboration? It must be love.

The former X Factor judge is rumoured to be falling for the rapping Brit after the pair spent time together while working on her new album.
According to Heat magazine, Chezza and her previously disastrous lovelife are ready to "move onwards and upwards" and Taio's the man to make it happen.

The mag quotes Cole as telling friends she feels "completely clumsy and dippy around him".

And since Cruz tweeted a photo of Cheryl wearing one of his watches last week, the gossip world is convinced romance is on the cards.

If memory serves, the same rumours were flying around about Chezza and Will.i.am not so very long ago.

Still, the news reportedly won't go down well with ex-hubby Ashley.

A source told Heat, "Ashley doesn't know yet, but when he does find out, he'll go mental. He'll say it's a p*ss take - and that you don't do that to a mate. You don't get with his ex-wife."

Maybe he's not so "besotted" with his latest Playboy model girlfriend after all.

When Katie Price cancels her 45th (just a rough estimate) book launch of the year, you know something must be seriously wrong.

According to The Mirror, the model and, er... novelist, is battling an illness so severe she has been forced to rearrange her extremely busy signings schedule.
Pricey was due to start signing copies of her latest ~~ghostwritten~~ tome Santa Baby today but is currently resting under doctor's orders.

Her spokesman confirmed the news, telling the Mirror, "A cold has developed into something slightly more and she needs to rest up.

"We anticipate Kate being back working next week."

Aww... and she was SOOOO excited about the launch too.

She recently tweeted: "My new novel, SANTA BABY, is out next week. I can't wait for the press call. It is going to be amazing. Just wait and see!! xx"

We don't doubt it would have been, um... eye catching. Just look at the outfit Katie turned up in last time she went on a nationwide self-promotional tour.

Seriously though, it is a shame because Santa Baby features the return of Angel Summers, the heroine of Katie's debut novel Angel.

Ah well... all you literary fans out there will just have to wait a little longer.

The BBC is reported to be lining-up a £1m bid to secure the services of a certain Ms Kylie Minogue for its new talent show The Voice.

Yesterday the corporation was claimed to have tapped up Black Eyed Peas mainman Will.I.Am instead of Cheryl Cole, but the prospect of Kylie appearing as a judge will trump them both.
The Sun claims that the bumper pay packet would give her twice as much as Brucie gets for hosting Strictly or Tulisa gets for judging on The X Factor.

And although the paper seems to disapprove of this (nothing to do with James Murdoch's campaign against the BBC we're sure), it seems to be forgetting that we are talking about Kylie here.

Tulisa seems nice enough, but she's an unknown quantity when it comes to hotpants.

The paper also claims that Kylie's original demand was £2.5m, but that the amount has been scaled back in negotiations.

Well, if Wossy was worth £6m a year a while ago...

Big Brother tantrum queen Nikki Grahame has revealed that she has lapsed back into anorexia after 10 years.

The 29-year-old has checked herself into a clinic to be treated for the eating disorder, saying that she has been limiting herself to just 400 calories at each meal.
She claims that the illness returned when she had a bunion removed and was unable to exercise - so unwisely decided to eat half as much food instead.

She told Heat magazine, "then, as soon as I could, I started exercising to a ridiculous degree - but without increasing the food.

"I have this phobia of having more than 400 calories at any one time. I can't allow myself to sleep if I feel I haven't done enough exercise. I don't sit down for two hours after I've eaten."

Nikki is now attending a clinic from 10am to 4pm each day - where she eats what she is told, when she is told to.

In 2008 she wrote a book called Dying to be Thin, in which she detailed her battle with the illness and described how she had never had a period because of it.

She continued, "I feel like a failure. I've written my book and said that I've beaten this illness, but now it's completely controlling me.

"I have to know where and when I'll be eating two days in advance so I can prepare myself mentally. It just completely controls everything. I'm tormented. All I think about is this regimented schedule."

What is it they say? 'You can take the girl out of Essex...'? Well Lauren Goodger proved there's never a truer word spoken when she flashed her undercrackers as she got into a taxi after a night out in London last night.

The TOWIE star had clearly had one too many Barcardi Breezers as she stumbled into the car exposing her flesh coloured knickers.

Well they're not quite the colour of her own flesh - they'd have to be washed in Ronseal if they were.

Lauren had been partying at London's Aura nightclub after spending the day getting her hair done and buying shoes.

Seriously, these TOWIE lot have such a hard life.
It looks like she was taking the opportunity to wash ex-fiancé Mark Wright right out of her hair after he began seeing Sam Faiers again.

Lauren tweeted: "havin hair coloured @FOURLondon by @maleekataher bein treated very special in here lol then goin get some Louboutins who needs aman hey lolX"

Money can buy you as many shoes as you want Lauren, but what it won't buy you is class.

Maybe you and Tulisa could take some lessons in getting into a taxi properly together? Just a thought.

TOWIE stars Sam and Billie Faiers have revealed they are hiring a security team after being left too terrified to go out alone after being beaten up by a gang of girls at the weekend.

The sisters admitted they haven't left their own home since the attack which left Sam unconscious and requiring a brain scan and Billie with a split lip and cuts and bruises.
And after having personal belongings stolen - including a designer handbag containing their house keys - they've also had to call in a locksmith to change the locks at their Essex home.

Sam told the Sun: "There is no way we will be going anywhere near where it happened. It's left us terrified of further repercussions. We're discussing security."

A spokesman for the hit ITV2 show confirmed they are helping the sisters with security arrangements: "It is being arranged. Whenever the girls feel it appropriate they will have security around them."

Since the attack the girls have been visited by many of their TOWIE co-stars including Sam's ex, Joey Essex and Mark Wright who was spotted buying two huge teddy bears earlier in the day.

Police are also due to visit the girls today to take statements.

Strictly Come Dancing may be waltzing off with nearly as many viewers as The X Factor at the moment but a crisis could soon hit the ballroom show.

The future of the Strictly final has been thrown into doubt after union members have threatened to strike, meaning its last dance could be postponed.
A row has erupted at the BBC over their decision to axe more than 2,000 jobs and staff are preparing to walk out in December, including the week of the Blackpool Tower finale.

The final weeks of the competition could be rescheduled if workers do decide to strike after a vote takes place on 4 November.

Gerry Morrissey, the general secretary for trade union Bectu, said viewers should prepare themselves for disruption.

"Without a change to the BBC's position, we are under no illusions that a vote for strike action will mark the start of a programme of industrial action which could affect the highlights of the BBC's autumn/winter schedule including the Strictly Come Dancing finals," he said.

A BBC spokesperson also said that the corporation had not yet begun formal consultation with the trade unions.

Other programmes such as Sports Personality of the Year could also be hit by the strike.

We expect Simon Cowell is rubbing his hands with glee at this news.

There's more trouble in store for The X Factor. A children's charity who share the name as the show's girlband Rhythmix are set to sue.

The Brighton based children's charity have filed a lawsuit against Simon Cowell's company Simco after they applied to register the band's name as a trademark.
Rhythmix work with children with learning difficulties and youth offenders to create a music programme.

They are now urging Simon to change the X Factor band's name claiming Simco were "fully aware" the name was already registered to the charity and that confusion "might have a negative impact on the activities of the charity".

Chief executive Mark Davyd said: "Rather than... considering any of the moral implications of their actions... Simco and their legal representatives apparently sought a way to use the law to circumvent the trademark of the charity.

"Maybe those young people won't be on your programmes, or your record label, but the music they create is important to them," he said in an open letter to Simon.

We wonder if the X Factor voice-over guy will be introducing them as somehting different come Saturday night...
