Faiers sisters' stepdad arrested over gold heist

PA

Things seem to be going from bad to worse for TOWIE sisters Sam and Billie Faiers after their stepfather was arrested on suspicion of involvement in a plot to steal £1m worth of gold bullion.

Just last week the sisters were the subject of a vicious attack by a girl gang while enjoying a night out - leaving them battered and bruised.
And last night police are reported to have turned up at the home they share with their mum and her partner David Chatwood, 57, who is apparently known as "Chatty".

The Sun claims that he and five other men were held on suspicion of conspiring to grab the gold from a lorry in Belgium.

The gold was being transported from Antwerp to the UK by a precious metals company when it was stolen on October 19.

Chatwood and the other five men were charged with conspiracy to steal and transfer criminal property and have been remanded in custody following a hearing at Brentwood Magistrates Court.

They will appear again in January.

Derry speaks out about X Factor race row

Derry Mensah has spoken out about the claims Kitty Brucknell racially abused him, insisting the singer DID make a racial slur against him, despite her vehemently denying the accusations yesterday.

"She was sleeping but I came in to do my vocals," he told The Mirror. "Then she snapped and went off on one and called me a black b******. She was upset that I woke her up and she looked like she was going to cry.
Tensions are now running high in the X Factor house as The Risk member revealed the row has left him feeling stressed and the pair are no longer on speaking terms.

"She apologised afterwards. But we don't speak any more. It's bad because she goes around saying she used to be bullied and then she says stuff like that to me.

"I am still in total shock at what she said. It was very hurtful.

"I'm not well at the moment and the whole thing has caused a lot of stress. I don't know if Tulisa knows about it - she won't be pleased to find out about it."

Meanwhile Kitty is said to be close to quitting the show, convinced that the story was made up in an attempt to sabotage her chances of winning.

A friend of the singer told The Mirror: "She finds it so hurtful Derry would say all this. It's the last thing she needs after a terrible week. She doesn't know what his problem is.

"As far as she is concerned Derry is making the whole thing up."

Former EastEnders actress Natalie Cassidy is reported to be mulling over whether or not to appear in this year's I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!

The 28-year-old, who played Sonia Jackson in the BBC soap for years, has apparently been tapped up to fly to Australia for the popular reality show.
The Sun quoted a source as saying that she was a bit anxious about leaving her one-year-old daughter Eliza behind.

The source said, "Natalie is very keen, but does have some worries about childcare for Eliza, who dotes on her mum.

"The show lasts for a month on the other side of the world, so that is a big consideration. But she really hopes these obstacles can be overcome."

She has lost several stone in weight in recent months and may be planning to "do a Myleene" by showing off her enhanced boobs in a bikini.

Natalie made the headlines in unhappy circumstances earlier this year when she split with her partner Adam Cottrell after he attacked her in front of their child.

He later admitted assault and was given a restraining order.

Other celebs reported to be lined-up for the show include TOWIE's Mark Wright, Sinitta, Corrie's Antony Cotton and Freddie Starr.

We'll definitely be tuning in if we can get to see Mark doing some Bushtucker Trials.

What do you reckon? Would Nat make a good contestant? Comment below...

Sour grapes anyone? Nancy Dell'Olio blasts Strictly judge Alesha

BBC

She was as famous for her diva antics as she was for her dodgy dancing whilst on Strictly Come Dancing and Nancy Dell'Olio shows no sign of changing now that she's been voted off the show.

The axed Italian has taken a swipe at judge Alesha Dixon branding her 'vulgar' after she said Nancy was 'not very feminine' during her Halloween themed rumba.
Alesha told the star on Saturday's show: "I think you are a sexy woman and you know how to work it, but you are a walking disaster. Your legs are so far apart and that is not very feminine."

However, true to character, Nancy wasn't about to take the comments lying down.

She told BBC Breakfast: "Some of the comments from a woman to another woman... she said things you are not supposed to say. She was not elegant and she was a little bit vulgar.

"There is a fine line between entertainment and unnecessary comments."

Well at least she hasn't threatened to sue this time like she did to Bruno Tonioli.

She is considering calling the cops over some unwanted attention she is receiving though.

Nancy has been left worried after a stalker began making sexual comments towards her and turning up at her London home where she lives alone.

A spokesperson for Nancy confirmed the reports saying: "There is a situation with an individual who has taken a shine to Nancy. We're looking at ways to make him take a step back."

Just tell him to Foxtrot Oscar Nance.

Should Nancy have kept a dignified silence or should Alesha not made the comments in the first place? And will the show duller now Nancy's gone? Leave a comment below.

Drama? What drama? Kelly reckons there's no X Factor crisis as arrives back in the UK (VIDEO)

It's only been a matter of days since Kelly Rowland phoned in sick to the X Factor and croaked her way through eliminating one of her own acts, but it's amazing what an ultimatum from Simon Cowell can do.

The singer is now back to the UK after the X Factor boss reportedly gave her 48 hours to return to the show, although as she arrived at LAX airport for her flight, she denied any knowledge of Simon Cowell's demand.

Hmmm, maybe she couldn't get a phone signal?
That might explain why she also claims to know nothing of any X Factor drama too.

"There's no drama that I know of," she said.

Sounds like her internet was down too.

Kelly went AWOL following a bust up with Tulisa after the N-Dubz star accused Misha B of being 'mean' to other X Factor hopefuls backstage. After flying home to LA, she then missed last week's show because of an 'extremely rare' illness, which saw Alexandra Burke keeping her seat warm on the judging panel.

Kelly and Tulisa are said to have since made up after Kelly called Tulisa from her sick bed to clear the air after not speaking for a week.

But if she was expecting an apology, it sounds like she might still be waiting for one.

Asked in Now magazine if she wished she'd kept her mouth shut, Tulisa said: "No, I'm happy I said it. People can give me as much stick as they want. It'll help with her attitude."

And on the subject of Kelly blanking her, she said, "I think she's upset about the drama over the comment I made to Misha. That did lead to some serious friction."

Try telling Kelly that.

Rihanna is without doubt one of the busiest ladies in pop but it appears her hectic party lifestyle is taking its toll.

After being struck down with flu on Monday, which saw her having to cancel a gig in Sweden, the singer has now been ordered by doctors to stop partying rest.
When she's not been performing on stage or getting naked in video shoots, Ri-Ri's been busy burning the candle at both ends and now doctors have told her it's got to stop.

"Rihanna is running on empty but she's still been going out drinking and living it up," a pal told The Sun. "She doesn't have any downtime where she can completely relax. She spends most of her time in the studio, on stage or in clubs.

"Doctors are worried she's overdoing it. She needs to take some time off, otherwise she'll be vulnerable to more illness."

Becks becomes the £5m face of Sainsbury's

Move over Jamie Oliver, there's a new celeb wandering the aisles at Sainsbury's.

David Beckham has bagged himself a nice little earner as the new 'face' of the supermarket and could take home a substantial £5 million pay packet.
It might seem like a random choice - Becks isn't a chef (being pals with Gordon Ramsay doesn't count), he lives in LA and let's face it, he's not renowned for his acting skills.

But the shrewd Sainsbury's bigwigs have enlisted the former England football hero to front their Active Kids campaign and promote their sponsorship of the London 2012 Paralympics.

Makes sense now right?

Admittedly, we can't see him rustling up a tasty brunch or Sunday roast a la Jamie, but we doubt that'll bother the millions of female fans across the UK.

Speaking about his new job Becks said, "I know the difference leading a healthier and more active life can make to kids and I have been really impressed with the long-term commitment that Sainsbury's has made."

See? It's nothing to do with the minimum £3.5 million he's rumoured to be getting for smiling at the camera and telling us all to 'live well for less'.

Wonder if Posh will take that on board.

What do you think - is Becks the right man for the job? Leave a comment below...

X Factor Frankie gets a 'dressing down' after another boozy night out

He's been living it up for weeks now but rock 'n' roll wannabe Frankie Cocozza has finally been given a telling off by X Factor bosses.

According to The Sun, producers gave the skinny-jeaned hopeful a "dressing down" after his latest 12-hour drinking sesh.

The paper claims the 19-year-old refused to answer calls from show bosses, got mashed on cocktails and shots and only arrived back at the X Factor house at 8am.

To be fair he was probably far too busy taking groupies into the car park to answer the phone but nevertheless, the bigwigs were none too pleased.

An insider told the tabloid, "He was given a severe dressing down and stern words were said."
Sounds like a case of 'careful what you wish for', if you ask us. He might be making headlines but encouraging a randy 19-year-old to run riot in London clubs was always going to spell trouble.

The source added, "He has been booed by the studio audience the last few weeks and this won't help matters. Viewers could boot him off the show."

We live in hope.

What do you think - should the producers have put a stop to Frankie's partying weeks ago? Comments below please...

Bieber named in paternity lawsuit

A Justin Bieber fan has claimed that the pop phenomenon fathered her three-month-old baby in a brief backstage encounter last year - and is pushing for him to take a paternity test.

Mariah Yeater, 20, claims that she was propositioned by the Biebs when she was backstage after his gig at LA's Staples Centre last October.

He would have been 16 at the time and she 19. The age of consent in California is 18 by the way.
And she claims that not only did he say that it was his first time, but their tryst barely lasted 30 seconds (ouch!).

Justin's people have vehemently denied the allegations and he has tweeted, "So Im going to ignore the rumours...and focus on what is real an opportunity to help by doing what i love. Judge me on the music! Love yall!"

Ms Yeater was quoted by Radar Online as telling a judge: "When I later realized I was pregnant with Justin Bieber's baby, I tried to contact him through his representatives but no one ever called me back.

"On July 6, 2011, I gave birth to a baby boy. That was exactly 36 weeks and two days after the sexual encounter with Justin Bieber.

"Based upon the timing as well as the fact there were no other possible men that I had sex with that could be the father of this baby, I believe that Justin Bieber is in fact the father of my baby."

We're not going to repeat the more sordid details of the claims that she makes in US gossip rag Star (pictured), but we're not going to stop you Googling it if you really must.

Adele: 'I'd do anything to be with my ex'

Unless you've been living on the moon, you'll know by now that Adele's monster hit album 21 was inspired by a very naughty man who didn't treat her very nicely when they were together.

But despite her heartbreak, Adele has admitted she would 'do anything' to get back with the love rat she sings about on the album.

The sick star, who has been forced to deny reports she is suffering from throat cancer after being plagued with problems with her voice, told a US magazine that she would do anything to be with him again.
"It's bittersweet because I wouldn't give up this success for anything. But at the same time, I'd do anything to be with him. I miss him. I do," she said.

"It's hard singing all these songs because it makes me remember how brilliant we were when we were good... and how tragic it was when we were bad."

Adele famously cried at the end of her Brits performance when she sang her smash hit Someone Like You, but despite endless performances since then, she still finds it brings back difficult memories.

"Even now, I get emotional performing that. It was such an honest thing to write," she said.

Awww, bless.
