Meet 21-year-old German jazz/burlesque singer Elisa Schmidt - Hugh Grant's new girlfriend.

Yep, just 24 hours after the news broke that Hugh had become a father for the first time to a bonnie baby girl, the 51-year-old has been spotted getting cosy with the singer who is thirty years his junior.
According to reports in Germany, the pair were spotted dining together at the Borchardt restaurant in Berlin before leaving hand in hand. Hugh then sent his chauffer home before heading off in a taxi with his date.

The couple were introduced by Robbie William's former songwriting partner Guy Chambers, who Elisa is currently working with.

But despite their very public PDA, Elisa recently told German newspaper Bild that her relationship with the actor was purely platonic.

"I was in London with Guy to talk about my first album," she said. "In the evening we shared a meal and there got to know Hugh Grant.

"Since then we have come to understand one another very well and have become good friends. But there is definitely nothing more than friendship. Now he is in Berlin and invited me to dinner. That is all."

Yep, sounds like it.

Yesterday Hugh made a flying visit to the £1.2million London home of his former girlfriend, Tinglan Hong.

He said, "I'm only here for 24 hours, I'm filming in Germany. I've come back to protect my baby," before leaving after 45 minutes in his Ferrari.

On Tuesday Grant's spokesman said: "I can confirm that Hugh Grant is the delighted father of a baby girl.

"He and the mother had a fleeting affair and, while this was not planned, Hugh could not be happier or more supportive.

"He and the mother have discussed everything and are on very friendly terms."

The identity of the mother has still not been formally disclosed.

Say what you like about Lady Gaga (go on, she won't mind), you can't accuse her of making sense unless she really, really has to.

The pop icon has announced the launch of a charitable foundation which has the stated aim to, "lead youth into a braver new society where each individual is accepted and loved as the person they were born to be".
Gaga and her mum Stephanie Germanotta will be running the Born This Way Foundation - which is named after that song of hers that sounds a bit like Madonna's Express Yourself.

And the launch statement continued to explain that the foundation would, "focus on youth empowerment and equality by addressing issues like self-confidence, wellbeing, anti-bullying, mentoring and career development and will utilize digital mobilization as one of the means to create positive change".

But don't worry if you didn't understand a word of that, because Gaga was on hand to explain the project in her own words too.

She said: "My mother and I have initiated a passion project. We call it the Born This Way Foundation. Together we hope to establish a standard of bravery and kindness, as well as a community worldwide that protects and nurtures others in the face of bullying and abandonment."

Hmm, that's still about as clear as mud. Perhaps the foundation's website can offer a little more clarity.

It reads: "This Way, towards bravery... where youth are empowered. This way, towards acceptance... where humanity is embraced. This way, towards love... where individuality is encouraged."

Kelly Osbourne might have been all smiles with Madonna's daughter as she launched a search to find a model for Lourdes' Material Girl fashion line yesterday, but she didn't have quite so much to smile about the previous day.

The reality star found herself in hot water over comments she made in an interview with Glamour magazine where she opened up about her break up with former boyfriend Luke Worrell.

Asked about her most uncomfortable moment with her parents Sharon and Ozzy, she revealed it was telling them about her split with the male model after he cheated on her with a transexual.
"Having to tell them that my fiancé had cheated on me with a tranny who sold his/her story to the press. It was so humiliating," she said.

"Everyone kept telling me that Luke was cheating on me, but I never believed them. It's hard enough to get your head around someone cheating on you, but when that someone is a chick with a d***."

Her comments led to transsexual website transadvocate.com to accuse Kelly of "objectifying and dehumanizing" transsexuals, and noted that "people die because people talk like you did of us."

Kelly immediately took to Twitter to explain her comments, writing: "Dont u dare accuse me of being against anything 2 do w/ the LGBT community, I have never given anything but 100% of my support."

So far, so defensive.

But it wasn't long before Kelly was apologising left, right and centre when it became clear that her comments had been taken out of context.

"I APOLOGIZED words can be misinterpreted please stop this it breaks my heart to think I have ever offended any1 that is LGBT," she wrote, before adding, "I have been called every name under the sun but I don't think anything has hurt me more then you calling me a bigot!"

The glamour girl was promoting her new novel Santa Baby dressed in an outfit that looked like the Snow Queen meets the Nightmare Before Christmas.

And her reindeer pals look as bored as we are by the idea of another book she claims to have written.
Someone else who seemed to have lost interest in the artiste formally known as Jordan is Danny Cipriani, as Katie claimed at the launch she is "staying single", despite being pictured leaving his house one morning last month.

"I don't want to date anybody. There's so many hot guys out there, don't get me wrong, but I'm quite happy," she said.

Another day, yet another bit of old tut Katie Price is attempting to flog.

The glamour girl was promoting her new novel Santa Baby dressed in an outfit that looked like the Snow Queen meets the Nightmare Before Christmas.

And her reindeer pals look as bored as we are by the idea of another book she claims to have written.
Someone else who seemed to have lost interest in the artiste formally known as Jordan is Danny Cipriani, as Katie claimed at the launch she is "staying single", despite being pictured leaving his house one morning last month.

"I don't want to date anybody. There's so many hot guys out there, don't get me wrong, but I'm quite happy," she said.

Oh, and if anyone is hoping for a let up from Katie's writing *ahem* career, there's bad news - she's still planning on releasing an autobiography every 18 months and is already in the middle of writing her fifth.

We simply can't wait.

Earlier this week it was revealed that a collection of unheard songs from Amy Winehouse would be released, and now two tracks from the album have been unveiled.

Our Day Will Come is the first track to be taken from the posthumous album Lioness: Hidden Treasures, and received its first play on BBC Radio 1's The Chris Moyles Show this morning.

The album has been approved by the Winehouse family and her producers Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson, who famously produced her international hit album Back To Black.

Salamm has told of how he believes the album is faithful to Amy's legacy, telling The Sun: "I believe she has left something beyond her years. She has put a body of work together that will inspire an unborn generation."

The album contains a mixture of covers and demos from various points in her career including songs she recorded before her death in July.

Another track from the new album Like Smoke also premiered on BBC Radio 1Xtra this morning.

We have to say, it is haunting to hear Amy's beautiful voice on songs we've never heard before and we're looking forward to hearing the rest of the album, which is available from 5^th December.
