Things have got so bad at the X Factor house that Simon Cowell has been forced to step in to issue a no-holds-barred warning.

According to today's Mirror newspaper, the TV mogul put in a Skype call to the hopefuls to express his concern about their "quality and dedication".
The tabloid quotes Simon as saying, "This is your one chance. You have to take control of the situation and stamp your authority on the show. A lot of you are not doing that right now."

Yeah, he's basically advised them all to be divas... like they need telling.

So that's the wannabes dealt with - now for the judges.

In a bid to put an end to the rumoured Tulisa/Kelly war, not to mention the ratings slide, Gary invited the judges and Xtra Factor hosts Caroline Flack and Olly Murs round for dinner and crisis talks.

Barlow revealed on this morning's Daybreak that song choices, mentoring and how to get the viewers back make the show stronger were all on the agenda during the bonding session.

ITV bosses apparently aren't convinced though, because a double eviction is rumoured to be on the cards as producers try to boost viewing figures.

Mariah Yeater, now 20, claims that she had a brief tryst with Biebs at a concert in LA last year - which the 17-year-old strenuously denies.
As we pointed out yesterday, he would have been 16 and she 19 at the time - and under Californian law the age of consent is 18.

Anyone having sex with a minor not more than three years younger than themselves can be found guilty of a misdemeanor offence and jailed for up to a year.

This time he has let slip that McFly's Dougie Poynter is heading to the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle with his best pal Mark Wright.

Speaking to 3am, the reality star blurted out, "Guess what? I've just been told that Dougie is definitely going to be on I'm A Celebrity."
Mark then responded, "No way! Swear on your mother's life that Dougie is going in?" before Arg confirmed: "I swear! He is!"

The new series of I'm A Celeb is shaping up to be quite a good'un with Dougie being the latest star to join the rumoured line-up of TOWIE's Mark, X Factor bod Sinitta, ex-EastEnder Natalie Cassidy, comic Freddie Starr and Imogen Thomas (we're not really sure what she does).

Here's hoping they can cheer Dougie up as the poor lamb's had a tough year following his split with The Saturday's Frankie Sandford, subsequently having a spell in rehab to mend his broken heart.

But with bandmate Harry already on Strictly and now Dougie packing for I'm A Celeb, it looks like McFly are hankering after a much needed record sales boost.

TOWIE's James 'Arg' Argent has gone and put his big foot in it again.

This time he has let slip that McFly's Dougie Poynter is heading to the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! jungle with his best pal Mark Wright.

Speaking to 3am, the reality star blurted out, "Guess what? I've just been told that Dougie is definitely going to be on I'm A Celebrity."

Mark then responded, "No way! Swear on your mother's life that Dougie is going in?" before Arg confirmed: "I swear! He is!"

The new series of I'm A Celeb is shaping up to be quite a good'un with Dougie being the latest star to join the rumoured line-up of TOWIE's Mark, X Factor bod Sinitta, ex-EastEnder Natalie Cassidy, comic Freddie Starr and Imogen Thomas (we're not really sure what she does).

Here's hoping they can cheer Dougie up as the poor lamb's had a tough year following his split with The Saturday's Frankie Sandford, subsequently having a spell in rehab to mend his broken heart.

Amanda Holden stole the show at last night's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman Awards as she showed off her baby bump in a glittering gold lame dress.

The 40-year-old scooped the magazine's "Ultimate Theatre Star" award, for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical.

Amanda, who is now on maternity leave, used her appearance at the awards ceremony to announce that she would be returning to the judging panel on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 - after she has given birth.

She said: "I'm thrilled as usual, I will wait to see who my co-judges are. I'm always told I'm safe. So then I just wait.
"I doubt Simon could sack a pregnant woman. I'd like to see him try."

But she said that she wouldn't stand for any pretend-feuding nonsense (surely she's not referring to The X Factor).

She said: "I would love another girl to come on the show and I can't bear it when shows make out that girls are feuding behind the scenes. It's all b*****s.

"I'm a girl's girl and I wouldn't stand for it if that was the atmosphere they tried to create on a show I was on. I would love Cheryl to join the panel - bring it on, she's gorgeous!

"Actually, Dannii would also be fabulous. I'd love to nick her dresses off her! Just think, Lexie and Ethan could be friends - it would be great."

So there you go. Next year's BGT panel will be Amanda, Cheryl and Dannii - and David Walliams. Maybe.
