Amanda strikes gold with award, announces BGT return

Amanda Holden stole the show at last night's Cosmopolitan Ultimate Woman Awards as she showed off her baby bump in a glittering gold lame dress.

The 40-year-old scooped the magazine's "Ultimate Theatre Star" award, for her role as Princess Fiona in Shrek: The Musical.

Amanda, who is now on maternity leave, used her appearance at the awards ceremony to announce that she would be returning to the judging panel on Britain's Got Talent in 2012 - after she has given birth.

She said: "I'm thrilled as usual, I will wait to see who my co-judges are. I'm always told I'm safe. So then I just wait.
"I doubt Simon could sack a pregnant woman. I'd like to see him try."

But she said that she wouldn't stand for any pretend-feuding nonsense (surely she's not referring to The X Factor).

She said: "I would love another girl to come on the show and I can't bear it when shows make out that girls are feuding behind the scenes. It's all b*****s.

"I'm a girl's girl and I wouldn't stand for it if that was the atmosphere they tried to create on a show I was on. I would love Cheryl to join the panel - bring it on, she's gorgeous!

"Actually, Dannii would also be fabulous. I'd love to nick her dresses off her! Just think, Lexie and Ethan could be friends - it would be great."

So there you go. Next year's BGT panel will be Amanda, Cheryl and Dannii - and David Walliams. Maybe.

Never tell J-Lo you think she's put on a few pounds...

We all know that Jennifer Lopez has got a bit of a reputation as a diva, but she's actually admitted to one of her biggest strops.

The American Idol judge has revealed she once fired her manager after comments were made about her weight.
Chatting to actress Jane Fonda in an interview with US Glamour magazine, Jen said that her employees "know better" than to make negative remarks about her.

"I was just so infuriated that somebody said you couldn't have a little extra meat on you - because I was by no means fat," she said. "That was so mean and closed-minded."

"I was like: 'No, this is who I am and this is the type of woman that I grew up with and it was beautiful and there's no reason to be anybody but myself'."

The 42 year-old also admitted that while she is comfortable in her own body, she is open to the idea of cosmetic surgery.

"I'd like to think I'll feel great about myself and age gracefully, but then I think, 'well, what if I do want a little bit of something?'"

We can only imagine what would happen if someone told J-Lo she needed surgery.

What do you think? Was J-Lo right to fire her manager or was she being a diva? Leave a comment below.

ITV have confirmed that there will be a double elimination on this weekend's X Factor.

Sunday's show will see two of the remaining nine hopefuls leave the competition for good.

Writing on Twitter, finalist Craig Colton said: "Me and Marcus need a lot of support this weekend everyone we are both very scared. Two people will be voted off (sic)".

But Johnny Robinson seems to be talking it all in his stride and is looking forward to dusting off his dancing shoes for the floor fillers theme.

Taking to Twitter he wrote: "Yeahhh club classics tomorrow excitttttting xxxxx"

And his enthusiasm is shared by his mate Kitty who said: "It's Club Classics & it's gonna be pumping".

Harper Seven strikes a pose on girls day out

Be warned, this new pic of Harper Seven Beckham may possibly melt your heart.

It looks like the latest addition to the Beckham family has already learnt to master the Posh pout as she enjoyed a girlie day out with her mum Victoria and her BFF Eva Longoria.
The trio were out supporting David as his team LA Galaxy played the New York Red Bulls yesterday.

Eva looked pretty taken with Harper as she cooed over the little'un, lifting her up in the air and pulling faces at her.

But poor Harper obviously didn't get the memo that the look for the occasion was smoky eyes, black dresses, tumbling brown locks and a glass of red.

Oh well, give her a few years.
