Oops! Kelly Rowland in Beyonce baby slip-up

That "extremely rare" throat infection Kelly Rowland's been battling hasn't stopped her blabbing celebrity secrets.

The X Factor judge accidentally let slip yesterday that her Destiny's Child pal Beyoncé is expecting a baby girl.

At the Cosmopolitan Ultimate Women of the Year Awards, Kelly said, "I have no idea what I'm going to buy Beyoncé at the baby shower because Jay is going to buy that little girl every single thing possible."

She added, "She won't be spoiled but she will be very well looked after."

Assuming she's not referring to Bey when she says "little girl", Kelly appears to have ruined the big baby surprise.
She'll be kicking herself if she misses out on being godmother.

What do you think Beyonce will call her baby girl? Let the baby name speculation begin...

Another X Factor shake-up on the cards?

Desperate X Factor bosses are rumoured to be planning a secret shake-up that could see the judges switch categories.

The Sun newspaper claims producers are "paralysed by fear" over the show being battered by Strictly in the ratings and are dreaming up increasingly desperate new twists to lure viewers back to ITV.
Insiders say having the judges mentor each other's acts will "really put the cat among the pigeons".

"It will be a major test for them as they've become too comfortable with their own acts," advised a loose-lipped source.

"Producers reckon tearing up the format is just the shot in the arm the show needs."

Well, they've already tried Cheryl Cole cloning, axeing four acts at once and a surprise double elimination so a 'secret shake-up' was bound to be next on the list.

In other news, the feud between Kelly and Tulisa looks set to continue, despite Ms Rowland's attempt to dismiss the drama and Gary's best peace talk efforts.

On Radio One yesterday, Kelly said she and Tulisa "have agreed to disagree" but when pushed on the question of their friendship, added, "We're here to groom our contestants and that's what we are most focused on for now."

She also suggested Rhythmix's new name, Little Mix, sounded like a brand of pet food. Ouch.

Something tells us there will be plenty of tension come tonight's show.

Who do you want to see voted off this week's X Factor?

Holly Valance reveals plan to boost Strictly ratings

BBC

Strictly contestant Holly Valance has revealed a cunning plan to ensure the BBC show continues to win the X Factor ratings war.

The former soap star, who is partnered by pro dancer Artem Chigvintsev, has an idea about how to keep the viewers interested - more thrusting.
Following Robbie Savage's controversial, crotch-grabbing, hip-thrusting performance last week, Holly is keen to grab a few column inches of her own.

"I'd like a couple of complaints myself," she told Metro. "Maybe this week I'll do it. Couple of hip thrusts - that's all it takes, easy."

Something tells us a few hip thrusts from Holly Valance is unlikely to garner the same number of complaints... might boost the ratings though.

And if that fails, there's always the 'accidental flash' to fall back on.

Valance, who is due to perform the jive in tonight's show, pondered, "I might just have to get mine out at some point just to get complaints up and get some ratings in."

Hmm... perhaps she should speak to Chelsee Healey before trying that one.

What do you think - is Holly one of your favourites to win and what did you make of the hip-thrusting controversy? Leave your comments below...

X Factor: Louis tells Frankie 'you'll never be a rock star'

Tulisa and Kelly may have put their Misha B bullying row behind them but a whole new war broke out on Saturday's X Factor as twinkly-eyed Louis Walsh turned nasty.

The Irishman usually trots out old favourites like 'you've got the likeability factor' and 'you nailed it' but made an exception for skinny wannabe Frankie Cocozza this week.

When Frankie had finished shouting his way through the Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling, Louis announced, "That was really bad karaoke and I don't know how you're still here.

"You're not a rock star, you'll never be a rock star and the only big thing about you is your hair."

Ouch.

Has Simon Cowell been on the phone Louis?
Needless to say, Kelly (whose voice has made a miraculous recovery) said Louis was "out of line telling someone what they will never be," to which Walsh replied, "At least I'm honest. I'm not playing to the camera like you."

Hmm... after last night, we're not so sure Louis.

Frankie's mentor Gary, meanwhile, admitted that he picked the wrong song but was "disgusted" by the audience booing.

So much for those peace talks, eh Gary?

And so much for Club Classics Week. Floor fillers? The most the acts could have hoped for was a couple of middle-aged women dancing round their handbags.

Little Mix performed Rihanna's Please Don't Stop the Music and actually are the best girlband the X Factor's ever seen (admittedly that's not saying much), while The Risk don't appear to be missing former member Ashley and impressed everyone with Shalamar's A Night to Remember.

Misha B's Tina Turner-style version of Proud Mary was a hit and it turns out Craig Colton can do something other than ballads (who knew?) performing Heaven by Marion Meadows.

Janet Devlin apparently can't though. Her attempt at upbeat fell frighteningly flat as she forgot the words to the Jackson Five's I Want You Back. Tulisa told her she should stick to her own style (after telling her she's too predictable last week).

Johnny Robinson reverted to high-pitched karaoke with a mash-up of Madonna's Hung Up and Dead or Alive's You Spin Me Round, and even Kitty had a bad week singing Madonna's Like a Prayer and was advised that she "can't dance" by Gary Barlow.

So it was left to the ultra-consistent Marcus Collins to give us hope for the series and after his rock 'n' roll performance of Jackie Wilsons' Reet Petite, he is now the bookies' favourite.

What was your favourite X Factor performance on Saturday?

Two acts are set to leave the show after tonight's public vote.

What do you think - was Louis Walsh out of line with his comments to Frankie? Your thoughts on the matter below please...

Just because you're crowned the winner of X Factor doesn't mean you'll go on to have a huge career (Hello Joe McElderry. Hello Leon Jackson). Yep, sometimes it helps to be a loser...
