Tulisa and
Kelly may have put their Misha B
bullying row behind them but a whole new war broke out on Saturday's
X Factor as twinkly-eyed
Louis Walsh turned nasty.
The Irishman usually trots out old favourites like 'you've got the likeability factor' and 'you nailed it' but made an exception for skinny wannabe
Frankie Cocozza this week.
When Frankie had finished shouting his way through the Black Eyed Peas' I Gotta Feeling, Louis announced, "That was really bad karaoke and I don't know how you're still here.
"You're not a rock star, you'll never be a rock star and the only big thing about you is your hair."
Ouch.
Has Simon Cowell been on the phone Louis?
Needless to say, Kelly (whose voice has made a miraculous recovery) said Louis was "out of line telling someone what they will never be," to which Walsh replied, "At least I'm honest. I'm not playing to the camera like you."
Hmm... after last night, we're not so sure Louis.
Frankie's mentor Gary, meanwhile, admitted that he picked the wrong song but was "disgusted" by the audience booing.
So much for
those peace talks, eh Gary?
And so much for Club Classics Week. Floor fillers? The most the acts could have hoped for was a couple of middle-aged women dancing round their handbags.
Little Mix performed Rihanna's
Please Don't Stop the Music and actually
are the best girlband the
X Factor's ever seen (admittedly that's not saying much), while
The Risk don't appear to be missing
former member Ashley and impressed everyone with Shalamar's
A Night to Remember.
Misha B's Tina Turner-style version of
Proud Mary was a hit and it turns out
Craig Colton can do something other than ballads (who knew?) performing
Heaven by Marion Meadows.
Janet Devlin apparently can't though. Her attempt at upbeat fell frighteningly flat as she forgot the words to the Jackson Five's
I Want You Back. Tulisa told her she should stick to her own style (after telling her she's too predictable last week).
Johnny Robinson reverted to high-pitched karaoke with a mash-up of Madonna's
Hung Up and Dead or Alive's
You Spin Me Round, and even Kitty had a bad week singing Madonna's
Like a Prayer and was advised that she "can't dance" by Gary Barlow.
So it was left to the ultra-consistent
Marcus Collins to give us hope for the series and after his rock 'n' roll performance of Jackie Wilsons'
Reet Petite, he is now the bookies' favourite.
Two acts are set to leave the show after tonight's public vote.
What do you think - was Louis Walsh out of line with his comments to Frankie? Your thoughts on the matter below please...

Just because you're crowned the winner of
X Factor doesn't mean you'll go on to have a huge career (Hello Joe McElderry. Hello Leon Jackson). Yep, sometimes it helps to be a loser...
