Bieber 'to take paternity test, then sue'

Justin Bieber has reportedly decided to take a paternity test to prove that he is not the father of Mariah Yeater's baby - and then to sue her.

The 17-year-old pop phenomenon was last week accused by the 20-year-old single mother of having fathered her three-month-old baby following a tryst backstage after one of his gigs last October.
Justin's legal team are claimed by US gossip site TMZ to have already replied to Yeater's representatives to confirm that the star will be willing to undergo a DNA test - which will be carried out when he returns to the US from Europe in around two weeks.

The site claims that Biebs and his team are planning to follow-up the negative result, which they are confident of, by suing Yeater - to show others that there are consequences for making up malicious stories about celebs.

Justin was in Belfast last night to collect his Best Pop award at the MTV EMAs - and in his acceptance speech he said, "Thanks... There's been a lot of crap on the internet lately."

Which would of course be true at any given point in the history of the internet, but we suspect was a reference to the Yeater story.

Lady Gaga cleans up at the MTV EMAs

It might have been the Europe Music Awards but the annual MTV EMA's were dominated by Americans last night, as Lady Gaga went home with another armful of trophies.

Gaga bagged four of the six awards she was nominated for, seeing off competition from poorly Adele, who won just one award.

The Poker Face singer picked up the awards for Best Female and Biggest Fans, while her single Born This Way led her to glory in the Best Song and Best Video categories.
Gaga also performed her new single Marry the Night at the ceremony whilst dancing on the moon, as you do. And the array of outfits were as outlandish as ever, including one which looked like a metallic satellite dish.

But despite flashing her bum, Lady Gaga wasn't the most naked person at the bash. That accolade went to the streaker who invaded the stage as actress Hayden Panettiere presented an award.

Host Selena Gomez also marred the night for Gaga, after donning a pink poodle wig in an attempt to impersonate her, leaving the Lady suitably unimpressed.

"Gaga was fuming at Selena's slight at her. She took it personally and there was a lot of effing and blinding backstage," a source told The Mirror.

"Selena was not allowed anywhere near Gaga backstage. She couldn't believe Selena had gone there, she was stunned. She takes her art very seriously."

Someone obviously needs to lighten up a touch.

Those winners in full:

Best Female - Lady Gaga
Best Male - Justin Bieber
Best Pop - Justin Bieber
Best Song - Lady Gaga, 'Born This Way'
Best Rock - Linkin Park
Global Icon - Queen
Best Video - Lady Gaga, 'Born This Way'
Biggest Fans - Lady Gaga
Best Live Act - Katy Perry
Best Alternative - Thirty Seconds To Mars
Best Hip Hop - Eminem
Best World Stage - Thirty Seconds To Mars
Best Push - Bruno Mars
Best New - Bruno Mars
Best UK & Ireland Act: Adele
Best Worldwide: BIGBANG

Kim Kardashian has flown to Minnesota to meet estranged husband Kris Humphries face-to-face and discuss their marriage.

It has apparently been stressed by "sources" close to the US reality TV queen that this is not a reconciliation - but an attempt to clear the air.
The couple are reported by gossip site TMZ to have met the man who married them, Pastor Joel Johnson, and discussed the state of their marriage - which Kim called time on after just 72 days by filing for divorce last week.

TMZ said that they "expressed respect and love for each other ... but both acknowledged a lot is wrong with their relationship".

Kris is claimed to be "ecstatic" that Kim has flown out to talk, but sources in Kim's kamp say she's being more kautious and is far from sure that she wants to kontinue life together.

What do you reckon? Can they save their marriage? Comment below...

So, the paso doble was my passport to another week in Strictly Come Dancing - I hope you enjoyed the comic interpretation of this dramatic dance that Flavia and I produced on Saturday night.

We were treated to a spectacular evening of ever rising standards and styles. As the weeks fly by I am sure you've noticed the work levels rising and the performances becoming more and more exacting and exhausting.
We are all hoping Artem's painful injury will ease over the weekend. I feel sure his determination to carry on will see him through, but we all have to be careful and it just goes to show that even the fittest and most highly trained dancers can sometimes be taken by surprise by their bodies.

Nevertheless Artem danced his way through the pain barrier and carried on to produce a cool and sophisticated jive that captivated us all with its energy and intensity. Holly and Artem deserved every one of their 34 points.

Topping the score board were Chelsee and Pasha with a pleasing, teasing, brilliant performance that our Craig proclaimed "FAB-U-LOUS" and so it was!

So far as points are concerned it wasn't Jason's week and it wasn't Robbie's either, but we all know that there are some dances that bring out our best and some we find more difficult and challenging. Even so, both gave us wonderful performances and both were receptive to the advice and guidance of the judges.

Flavia and I were the eighth couple to take the floor in a light hearted interpretation of the paso doble. Last Thursday I blogged "our version will be very, very different" and I am sure you agree now you've seen it. Once again Craig was reduced to a single "ASTONISHING!". Jennifer, standing in for Len, thought it 'entertaining' and Alesha 'loved it'. Bruno caught the essence proclaiming: "It was a Benny Hill version of a paso doble - demented and fabulous."

Sadly, each week we have to say goodbye to one of our company. This week it was my friend Lulu and her partner Brendan. We will all miss them and we will remember her stunning Halloween performance.

Back to Wales for a short rest. Tomorrow I shall be catching up with Flavia in the afternoon, that will give me a little time to write some horoscopes, catch up with the fan mail and, I believe, there are one or two newspapers who want to speak to me about Saturday's show.

It's a long journey each week from north Wales to London and back again, but I wouldn't have it any other way. There really is no place like home and the mountain air of Snowdonia, the company of friends and neighbours and the chance to chat with people at our local shops make the trip worthwhile.

Thanks to everyone at our local Porthmadog supermarket who turned the store upside down searching for nail varnish remover! My wonderful make-up department gave me black fingernails for the paso doble. Rushing for the car I forgot to take it off before leaving Television Centre. Amazingly I had none at home. My god-daughter Lucy came to the rescue in the end - you can always rely on her!

More from me on Thursday about the week's practice session - the next dance? American Smooth to I Am What I Am - rather me don't you think! Thanks again for all your wonderful messages and the encouragement and generous support you send me.

Thanks for being there!

Kelly Osbourne ends week from hell in hospital with a head injury

I think we can safely say that Kelly Osbourne will want to forget last week ever happened. After getting herself into hot water over her 'tranny' comments she finished her week in hospital after suffering a head injury.

Ouch.
The reality star was rushed to Miami's Mercy Hospital when she kept passing out after splitting her head open. Details of how she actually sustained the injury still haven't been released but she has been given the all clear.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: "Long story short I cracked my head open then kept passing out. I have the all clear [and] my mum came to get me."

And she was quick to praise the medical team who looked after her at the hospital, writing: "I just want 2 thank all the incredible doctors and nurses @ Mercy hospital in Miami 4 taking such good care of me u guys really are amazing!"

Still it's not all doom and gloom in Kelly's world. She's just bagged herself a new job as one of the judges on Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model.

Kelly is set to join the show for the next series - replacing former X Factor stylist Grace Woodward on the judging panel.

A source told The Sun: "The plan is for Kelly to come on board and shake things up. She is a massive fan of fashion and has good pedigree working on fashion shows. Crucially, she is also young and the whole point of the show is to find the next big thing."

It's not the first time Kelly has been involved in the worlds of TV and fashion - she replaced Elizabeth Hurley as the host of Project Catwalk, which saw wannabe designers battling it out to become the UK's best new fashion designer.
