Gazza helps Chezza ahead of Children in Need

They are two titans in the history of The X Factor, so it's nice to see two generations of judges working together, as Gary Barlow and Cheryl Cole are set to perform together at Children in Need Rocks.

It has been reported that the pair will share a 'big section together on stage' at the charity concert organised by Gary next week, and in preparation, he has been helping Cheryl out in rehearsals.
Cheryl is said to be nervous about her comeback which will be the first time she has appeared on TV since last month's Pride of Britain Awards.

"Cheryl hasn't done much TV this year at all and it has been a while since she sang live on stage," a source told The Sun.

"She has been busy in the studio working on her next album so her voice is in good condition but she wanted to get some serious time together with Gary before next week."

We already knew the two were pals as they climbed Mount Kilimanjaro for Comic Relief in 2009, but we're getting ever so excited at the prospect of some sort of musical collaboration.

And if that wasn't enough, JLS and Lady Gaga are also performing at the event at Manchester's MEN arena on Thursday.

Oh how we lol'd at the video of Kelly Rowland finding out that Frankie Cocozza had been chucked off The X Factor, after a journalist broke the news to a rather unsuspecting K-Row.

And it seems she's laughing at her delayed reaction too, believing she looked crazy in the clip.
Speaking at yesterday's X Factor press conference to discuss the return of either Amelia, Jonjo, James or 2 Shoes (Eleven's faves) to the competition, she said:

"I was doing something else at the time. There's no better way to say it. I was completely shocked, I looked crazy!

"The only thing I could think about was, 'Poor guy', because I thought of how challenging the weekend was for Frankie," she continued. "For me growing up in this industry, I thought about the fact that he's still a very young man.

"And it was just really hard and my heart just went out for him above anything. The situation happened, but you can still have a heart for somebody. He's still growing up and this is a lot for him to take in at one time."

Let's just watch it one more time. All together now, "........... wha?"

Which act would you like to see return on Saturday? And who deserves to get the boot on Sunday? Leave a comment below.

Hands up who saw this odd celebrity pairing coming? The Wanted's Max Geroge has revealed that Justin Bieber is his NBF.

Max has said they became close after touring South America together earlier this year, and he can't wait for the Biebs to come of age so they can go out on the lash together.
"Justin is like our adopted little brother," Max told The Mirror. "He turns 18 in March, so we're going to corrupt him. I'm talking a proper British party with loads of ale and killer shots."

Max also admitted that Justin has been using him as a sounding board, confiding in him about the reports he has allegedly fathered a child with 20 year-old fan Mariah Yeater.

"He is really cut up by being accused of being a father," Max said. "He said it's absolute bulls*** lies and that it didn't go down like that at all.

"He's had the worst time of his life and handled it so well. He knew we'd understand because girls are around us all the time.

"I told him to keep his head up, we're right behind him."

Seriously, we think the celeb world may have slightly imploded at this news.

What do you make of their friendship? Leave a comment below.

Aaron wins Big Brother... gets booed

Aaron Allard-Morgan was last night named the winner of Big Brother 2011... and was met with a chorus of boos.

While the other finalists, Louise, Alex and Jay, were all cheered (as you'd expect on the final night), Aaron, who had been up for eviction four times during the series, was left pacing the house asking himself "why do they hate me?".

Meanwhile we were left asking ourselves "who voted for him?".

By the time he got to the interview with Brian Dowling, even Aaron was having his doubts.

"I'm worried that my mum's phone bill is huge but I don't know," he wondered.

Even announcing that he would spend his £50k winnings on his son didn't seem to win the crowd over and amidst the final fireworks, Brian could be heard telling the 30-year-old, "Don't worry about the boos it's just panto."
Finishing in fourth place was Louise, who announced that she loves Jay "to bits" and is hoping for a Big Brother wedding and rushed off to meet her future mother-in-law.

Alex came in third and advised everyone to "just push for your dreams" because hers (ie. appearing on Big Brother) has already come true, and popular plumber Jay took second spot.

Asked whether he was in love with fourth-placed Louise, he admitted, "I would say aye".

Maybe that BB wedding is a way off yet then.

Frankie: 'I've got to stop being a little s***'

There's nothing like a week of bad press to make you realise you're not quite the controversial-but-charming wannabe star you thought you were.

And the penny appears to have dropped where Frankie Cocozza is concerned.

After his X Factor exit and subsequent cocaine confession, the 18-year-old has realised that getting hammered every night and sleeping around doesn't make you a good role model.

In an interview due to air on tonight's Xtra Factor, Frankie says, "From my first audition I walked out on stage and got my bum out and had seven girls tattooed on it.

"And people were saying 'he's not a good role model', but they should have known that from the start."

Fair point.
He went on, "I've had this massive reaction, and reading all the stuff, I've realised that I was starting to be a role model and, yeah, I feel bad about that now, really bad about it now."

Cocozza admitted that Gary had told him to "tone it down" but clearly he didn't take the advice on board.

"There's a lot of people trying to give me a hard time," he confessed. "But no matter how they try they're not going to be able to give me a harder time than I'm giving myself."

He's got a plan to change public opinion though... and that is to "stop being a little s***".

Frankie added, "Hopefully one day maybe people will look up to me in a good way. Can't really see it happening but who knows."

What do you think - can Frankie win the public over? Leave your comments below...

Freddie Starr's appearance on I'm A Celebrity has been thrown into doubt after a problem with his insurance.

The 68-year-old comedian underwent a quadruple heart bypass last year but producers are yet to get his insurance paperwork in order.

So while the rest of the D-listers made their way into the jungle, Freddie was nowhere to be seen.

Well actually, he was sitting by the hotel pool in Oz drinking coffee and smoking.

"I'm alright. There's no scare," he told reporters. "It's all down to paperwork."

According to the The Sun, show bosses underestimated just how long it would take to get the insurance all-clear for Freddie and now his stint in the jungle is in doubt.
An insider told the paper, "Without insurance, contestants are not allowed to compete. Because of his well-documented health problems, getting insurance has taken far longer than anyone thought.

"Bosses hope to get it sorted but if it doesn't happen soon it will be the end of his jungle dream."

Don't panic though people - TV presenter, radio DJ and famous former mullet-wearer Pat Sharp is ready and waiting to take Freddie's place.

What do you think of this year's I'm A Celebrity line-up? Were you looking forward to seeing Freddie in the jungle? Comments below please...

Kim K's former publicist: 'Marriage was a publicity stunt'

Kim Kardashian might have just ended one of the shortest marriages in showbiz history but so far she's stood by her 'I married for true love' statement.

But a 72-day marriage that was billed as 'America's royal wedding' and screened on TV is bound to arouse suspicion.

Step forward Jonathan Jaxson, Kim's former publicist.
Mr Jaxson has already suggested his ex-client is still not over her last sporting BF Reggie Bush and has now declared Kim's marriage to Kris Humphries a sham.

On this morning's Good Day LA, Jaxson said, "Two weeks prior to her wedding she knew it was not something she wanted to do.

"Unfortunately they were obligated to honour contracts otherwise they would have owed a lot of people a lot of money."

As if Kim would get married just for publicity.

To be fair, Mr Jaxson should know. Though he only worked for Ms Kardashian for two years, Jonathan claims he regularly staged publicity stunts.

Back in 2007, for instance, Kim was spotted 'ring-shopping' in Beverly Hills. But apparently the ring on her wedding finger was one she kept for just such an occasion... the very same one Kris proposed with, claims Jaxson.

And as for Kris Jenner's "she didn't make a dime" revelation, Jaxson called it "foolish garbage".

Good thing Kim had a prenup in place, eh?

What do you think - will Kim's 72-day marriage boost her reality career or end up ruining it? Leave your comments below...

With her prenup keeping the cash safe, Kim's unlikely to get stung in the divorce courts. Sadly these stars can't say the same...
