Kerry's ex-boyfriend: 'Dates were like a horror movie'

Another day, another of Kerry Katona's ex-boyfriends tells all.

The latest charmer to reveal details of what it's like to date a celeb is builder Stuart Nuttall, who, er... 'fell' for Kezza on the internet.

After two months of dating the reality star, Stuart's single again (he dumped her by text) and spilling the beans.
Blabbing to Reveal magazine, Stuart said he thought Kerry was "great fun and really bubbly"... but she turned out to be a "bitter disappointment".

Their first date, for instance, was in a Warrington pub.

"What a dive, what a rough pub," the 39-year-old said. "She said her mum had been taking her there since she was 16.

"It was like something out of a horror movie. We sat in the bar along with one old woman and her Labrador dog. One bloke had stripped down to his boxers and was lying on the pool table."

Nuttall goes on to reveal that whenever he saw Kerry drink "she would cane it". Judging by the way he's explained her local boozer, we can hardly blame her.

It wasn't just the pub dates that lacked romance though. Stuart recalls lying in bed waiting for Kerry to surprise him with something suitably sexy but was horrified to see her wearing Miss Piggy pyjamas.

He explained, "I remember thinking, 'What the f*** have you got on?'"

Stuart's parting shot was this little piece of advice, "I would say to anybody who's thinking of dating her, 'Don't bother', unless you want to stay in with her mum and have your life ripped apart."

After Mark Croft, Dan Foden and this guy, it strikes us it's Kerry that needs the advice - stay away from money-grabbing, blabber-mouths.

What do you think - was Stuart just cashing in? Leave your comments below...

Kitty Brucknell: 'Amelia Lily's X Factor return was unfair'

Ousted X Factor contestant Kitty Brucknell has made her first TV appearance since being voted off the talent show.

And wouldn't you know it, she's made headlines too!

The eccentric singer chatted to Phil and Holly on This Morning and just couldn't help but moan about the return of former reject Amelia Lily.

"It is a little bit weird," she said of the show's post-Frankie twist. "All of us felt very two sided about it.

"We kind of really worked hard for six weeks and suddenly she's just come back in the competition."

Nothing to do with the fact that she got glowing comments from the judges then Kitty?
Adding fuel to the 'Fix Factor' fire, Kitty went, "You never know, that could have been their intention all along."

Not content with a little moan about Amelia Lily, Brucknell also fanned the flames of the simmering war between Kelly Rowland and Louis Walsh.

If you remember, Kitty said her X Factor goodbyes by singing a line from Gaga's Born This Way. But if Louis had had his way, it would have been a different story.

Kitty claims he "egged her on" to "jump up on the table and stick your middle finger up to Kelly".

Presumably because he'd get sacked if he tried it.

But that's not all. According to The Mirror, the former Lady Gaga impersonator told friends show bosses only wanted her there "to be like a pantomime act".

The paper quotes Kitty as saying to friends, "They never gave me a chance. I was gutted when I found out they were putting me to perform first on Saturday and when Misha took Born This Way it showed where their priorities were.

"I knew then they clearly didn't want me to do well, but I have just got to make the best of it now."

Still, Kitty's got a performance at GAY to look forward to and a new showbiz buddy in Gaga so it's not all bad.

What do you think - was it unfair that Amelia Lily returned or sour grapes on Kitty's part? Leave your comments below...

Amy Winehouse 'haunting Pete Doherty'

Troubled rocker Pete Doherty is reported to have fled in terror to France after seeing the ghost of his late pal Amy Winehouse in his Camden home.

The Babyshambles singer, whose own drug problems make Amy look like the Archbishop of Canterbury, is reported by The Sun to be convinced that he has seen Amy's spectre more than once.
The paper quoted a source as saying: "He is utterly convinced that he has seen her ghost. A lot of people will think his visions are probably drug-induced, but he claims he is clean."

Pete is claimed to have seen Amy in his bedroom and spotted her reflection in his windows - and has now fled to Paris, too frightened to return to his own home.

After Amy's death Pete said he was left feeling "bewildered" and dedicated his most recent concert to her memory.

In which case we'd have thought he'd be happy if she was coming back to visit him!

What do you think? Is it real or all in his mind? Comment below...

Amy Childs joins Joey Barton row... a week late

Filed under:

PA

They say that revenge is a dish best served cold, so perhaps that is why former TOWIE star Amy Childs waited a week to respond to footballer Joey Barton's criticism of her old castmates.

Although if we were being more cynical we might suggest that she held her fire so that she could use it in her column in New magazine - which is available today in all good newsagents.
In case you missed all the kerfuffle, Joey lashed out at the TOWIE cast after seeing them at a video game launch party last week - branding them "freaks" and "helmets" - and displaying a suspicious level of knowledge about the show's characters.

This led to some fairly hostile banter between him and the Essex guys and gals - and culminated in self-styled alpha male Mark Wright challenging Joey to a boxing match (when he gets out of the jungle of course).

But just as the story had died down Amy has decided to stick her oar in as well.

She wrote: "OMG, I can't believe what footballer Joey Barton said about TOWIE on Twitter. He was horrible about Arg and Nanny Pat. He obviously watches the show as he knows so much about it and is just jel.

"Apparently, he has an extra 200,000 followers now - he was clearly using TOWIE as publicity. He needs to shuuut up!"

There's not much chance of that though, knowing Joey.

What do you reckon? Is Amy using Joey for publicity after her used TOWIE for publicity? Does it make you despair for the future of humanity? Comment below...

X Factor Frankie: 'I've been such an idiot'

An emotional Frankie Cocozza has begged for the public to forgive him in the wake of being axed from The X Factor.

The teenager has admitted he has made a 'stupid, stupid mistake' after enduring a week of strangers shouting abuse in the street, which has left his mum in tears.

In an interview with Heat magazine, he told of how a night of partying after his final Saturday show cost him his place in the competition, confirming reports he was overheard by a member of production staff talking about his exploits.

"I had a line of coke. I was so drunk when it happened," he said. "I made a massive mistake. Too many people found out about it, and in the end I didn't deserve to be there."
Frankie, who says he hasn't slept since leaving the show (and for once it's not because he's been out on the sauce), admitted he has found the public reaction difficult to cope with.

"People out there really do hate me. People were shouting, 'I'm so happy you've gone! I hate you!' on the street," he said.

And while mentor Gary Barlow has shown his support for Frankie in a series of texts since he left the show, Simon Cowell is yet to get in contact.

In the interview, Frankie also scotched the stories his exit came after six nights of cocaine fuelled partying, claiming he only took drugs once during his time on The X Factor.

Viewers of Saturday's The Xtra Factor saw Frankie tell host Caroline Flack that people should have known he was not a good role model, and he still seems to be sticking by the partying lifestyle he enjoyed while on the show.

"I always said I would be who I was on the show and going out is a massive part of who I am. I did still work hard," he said.

A few quiet nights in on the sofa will do you no harm Frankie. You'll even be able to watch The X Factor now.

The full interview appears in this week's Heat magazine, on sale now.

Do you think Frankie deserves forgiveness? Do you feel sorry for him? Leave a comment below.

The I'm A Celebrity camp is about to get a little more crowded as Sinitta and Pat Sharp join the rest of this year's celebrities in the Aussie jungle.

Despite being rumoured to have pulled out of the show at the last minute, the singer - who is also known as Simon Cowell's right hand woman on the X Factor - will be joined by fellow eighties star Pat Sharp in the camp.
They will join the likes of TOWIE's Mark Wright, McFly's Dougie Poynter, Corrie's Anthony Cotton and actress Stephanie Powers.

Meanwhile, Freddie Starr remains in hospital after being struck down with suspected food poisoning after taking part in the show's first Bushtucker trial.

The comic went head to head with TOWIE's Mark Wright in the trial which saw them tucking into such delights as fermented egg, pig's anus, cockroach milkshake, camel toe, turkey testicle and mice tails.

Yum.

An ITV spokesman said: "Freddie Starr was taken unwell in the jungle. He was immediately attended to by on-site medics and taken to hospital where he was assessed by doctors.

"He will remain in hospital overnight as a precaution, and further tests continue. However, Freddie is in great spirits and is keeping nursing staff ¬entertained."

It hasn't been the best of starts to Freddie's I'm A Celebrity experience after an insurance mix-up saw him entering the jungle a day later than the rest of the celebs.

Sick note Cheryl too ill for Gary Barlow duet?

Cheryl Cole's all set for her musical comeback, there's just one problem... she's come down with a sore throat and may have to pull out of her Children in Need Rocks appearance.

Cheryl had been lined up to duet with Gary Barlow at the charity event on Thursday night, which would have marked her first performance in months, but she may have to do a Kelly Rowland and call in sick.
She's come down with a 'mysterious throat condition' (sounds familiar), that could prevent her uniting with the X Factor judge.

"There's a chance that Cheryl might have to pull out," Gary told The Mirror: "We're still waiting to hear but, if it doesn't happen, I don't know what we're going to do.

"The next 24 hours are crucial. She'll see a doctor on Wednesday morning to see if she can perform."

Gary, who has organised the event himself, also told of how he offered Cheryl the chance to duet with any of the acts on the bill, which include Coldplay and Lady Gaga, but she chose him.

"I wouldn't have asked Cheryl to duet with me because I'm a gentleman," he said. "So I said to her: 'Do you fancy doing something? Take your pick. We've got Coldplay, you can duet with anyone.'

"And she said: 'Well, what about you? I fancy doing something with you.' And I thought, 'Here we go!' So I styled it out and waited before texting back... But I'm really excited."

Cheryl was pictured leaving Gary's house last week, and it is thought that during rehearsals they also spoke about Cheryl's possible return to The X Factor, as we reported yesterday.

Let's just hope that Cheryl's feeling better, because the picture at the top has got us feeling very excited at the prospect of Chez and Gaz sharing a stage.

Do you think Cheryl should sing through the pain? Leave a comment below.

Chantelle Houghton has revealed she is expecting her first baby with partner Alex Reid.

The happy news comes after she was warned by docs that her chances of conceiving naturally were slim.

Announcing the news in this week's OK! magazine, she said: "'Oh my god! I'm pregnant! Let me through - I'm going to be the yummiest mummy there is.

'I'm milking it, trust me. I've told my friends and family, if I'm going through it, you're all going through it.

'Alex is desperate to know if it's a boy or a girl but I can't tell him until the four-month scan. We want to know the baby's sex.'
The reality star and model feared she might never have children after discovering she had low fertility and would need to start IVF treatment.

She also admitted that her past extreme dieting may have had an impact - something she later played down.

But just days before the couple were about to embark on IVF treatment, a pregnancy test - bought on the off chance - confirmed Chantelle was expecting.

"I just stared and stared at it. I couldn't move, she said. "The only thing that would move was my hands, shaking. I was in shock.

"We were a week away from starting IVF. The thought of conceiving naturally had gone out of my mind completely - I didn't even think it was possible."

Chantelle and Alex Reid got engaged last month despite the fact that he is technically still married to Katie Price.

Congrats to them both!
