The woman who claimed that she had a baby by Justin Bieber is reported to have been compromised by a friend who claims she begged him to delete text messages that confirmed somebody else was the dad.US gossip site TMZ is claiming that Mariah Yeater this week sent a text to a friend making the request and promising him a cut "when we get paid".
The text apparently read, "Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son. ill kick u when we get paid. im trusting you pleeease. Mariah laci."
And it seems she had forgotten about some of the texts she had previously sent to the man, who was not named by TMZ - because another clearly implied that Biebs was not the dad.
It read, "Would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son's life?"
The friend in question has also apparently shared the information with Bieber's lawyer Howard Weitzman, who went on to issue a stern statement.
He said, "This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story.
"Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."
"There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be."
And since the lawsuit was already dropped, we have to admit it's certainly looking that way now.
