Russell's Strictly Diary: Show 8

Well... there we are - all good things must come to an end.

Saturday's Wembley show was an exhilarating, exciting exit for me and I couldn't have asked for a better send off.
The Big Bang theory saw me flying through the air with maybe not the greatest of ease and then landing to jive with the fabulous Flavia. It was all great fun, but you and I know that each week one couple flies through the air and lands with a bump!

Even so the audience gave us a standing ovation. Sir Bruce claimed I had "Done it again!" Alesha said "Just when you think you've seen it all - that was the best ever entrance on Strictly" and Bruno claimed it as "Incredible or bit of madness" and he "Loved it!"

Craig was reduced to a "Revolutionary!"

Len added that whenever people talk about the history of Strictly they will always say, "Do you remember when Russell Grant flew out of that cannon at Wembley?"

In many ways it is sad to go; I will miss the other dancers and all the wonderful people who have helped me backstage and away from the camera's lens in production, wardrobe and make-up. In other ways it will be nice to catch my breath before the final show and spend more time at home in the mountains of Wales and start learning lines for my pantomime season in Milton Keynes.

We have waved goodbye to some lovely people and there will be more sad moments before the final in Blackpool but that's what the show is all about.

Well, good luck to all those still on the floor. They are all fabulous dancers and each one of them deserves to win. I will miss you all, but I won't miss those long practice sessions or those nerve racking results shows!

I shall end where I started - all good things must come to an end! See you soon my friends and KEEP DANCING!

Mark Wright makes his move on Emily Scott in the jungle

We all knew it was only a matter of time before Mark Wright tried it on with someone in the I'm A Celebrity camp, and given that Jessica-Jane Clement has a boyfriend, it was looking like Mark would have to turn to Sinitta if he wanted a bit of jungle fun.

So thank goodness model Emily Scott has given him someone to flirt with - and he hasn't wasted anytime in making a move.
As the pair frolicked in the jungle pool, Mark told her "I used to fancy you back in the day when I was young. You used to do magazines, right? Zoo, FHM?

"They were my perving years when I used to buy all those magazines. I was about 19."

And Mark's smooth talking didn't end there. He then told Emily he wouldn't be able to get out of the pool as "something would be poking up."

What a charmer. We bet Lauren Goodger is having kittens.

Meanwhile, it's been revealed that the model was secretly married to former 5ive singer Ritchie Neville.

Emily, who has also dated David Walliams, was married to the pop star for four months after they met when they both appeared on Sky One reality series Cirque du Celebrite in 2007.

However, it ended badly when the couple fell out, leading her to take out an AVO against him.

What do you reckon? Do Mark and Emily make a good couple? Leave a comment below.

Fascination Records

She's been in the business we call show since the age of 12 but where on the celebometre does she reside? Time to find out...
1. Who's the most famous name in your mobile?
I've got Flo-Rida, JLS and Tulisa.
3/5. Ker-lang! Three for the price of one.

2. Most bizarre thing you've ever read about yourself?
That I was engaged! I'm not.
0/5. Not exactly bizarre.

3. How much is too much for a haircut?
Well we get ours done for nothing but I wouldn't pay any more than the cost of a pair of shoes or a handbag.
3/5. We're guessing she doesn't get her footwear at Primark.

4. Katie Price. Friend or foe?
Well I don't dislike Katie Price. I have met her once a while ago and she was pleasant. She's done alright for herself. There are a lot of girls who are glamour models but she's taken it that one step further and built a whole business around it. What she does personally is nothing to do with me though.
0/5. Cop out. We all know Pricey's personal business is everyone's business.

5. Weirdest thing you've been sent by a fan?
We don't really get weird things. We get nice stuff, like our fans know Vanessa loves Haribo sweets so she gets sent those and I get Ferrero Rocher chocolates.
2/5. 'Cos she's the classy one.

6. Best party ever?
The Cavalli party in this massive warehouse in London. We were loaned some of his dresses for the night so we felt really special.
2/5. Would've scored more if 'loaned' was replaced by 'given'.

7. Ever used your fame to get what you want?
No, but certain friends will be like 'I know Rochelle from The Saturdays, can I get a table please?'
0/5. They seem to have the idea of this showbiz lark more than Rochelle.

8. How much cash would it take to get you to pose in the buff?
I think 'never say never' to these kind of things. Ten years down the line I could be desperate but at the moment there's not going to be any naked posing!
5/5. Full marks for being acutely aware of the fickle nature of fame. And for being shameless.

9. Best freebie you ever received?
A holiday to St. Lucia. I took my mum.
0/5. She giveth with one hand, yet takes away with the other...

10. Ever been chatted up by another celeb?
Yes, Marv [Rochelle's boyfriend, Marvin Humes from JLS] and he had to do a LOT of chasing!
5/5.

Result: 20/50
A low score for Rochelle, despite spending half her life in the glare of the showbiz spotlight. She's got the showbiz chums and the famous boyfriend but is far too grounded to start dishing out any don't-you-know-who-I-ams - she lets her friends do that instead.

When we first heard that Absolutely Fabulous was being brought back to TV, we were a tad excited to say the least.

But now we've clapped eyes on the first official shots from the Christmas special, our excitement has reached fever pitch.

In fact we've taken to calling everyone in the office 'sweetie darling'.
As you can see Eddie and Patsy, played by Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley, look as suitably ridiculous as ever, and look primed and ready for more outrageous antics. And we're glad to see that Bubble hasn't toned down her look in the seven years the show has been off air.

The sitcom, which also stars Jane Horrocks, Julia Sawahla and June Whitfield, is returning to BBC One for two festive specials over Christmas, with another to air during the Olympics in 2012.There are also rumours that a film version of the show is in development.

The specials are also a poignant milestone for Jennifer Saunders, as it marks her return to comedy since recovering from breast cancer.

The actress was diagnosed with the condition in October 2009 and underwent a lumpectomy, radiotherapy and chemotherapy, but has since made a full recovery.

She chose to keep the illness private, only recently revealing her battle with the disease.

"I think the idea of losing your hair is still a very potent, emotional thing," she said.

'Not for me, I didn't mind so much. What I didn't realise was that every bit of hair would go. Then, when it comes back, it comes back a lot."

Well Jennifer, it's absolutely fabulous to have you back (sweetie darling).

What do you think about the show coming back? Are you pleased to see Eddie and Patsy return? Leave a comment below.

Kitty Brucknell has revealed that she used to survive on just one yoghurt a day when she was taking her GCSEs because she was so stressed.

The axed X Factor hopeful also admitted to having Botox and lipo and stripped off for the photos that accompany the interview in Heat magazine.
Speaking about her body image, she said: "When I was 16, I got really stressed over my GCSEs. I got really skinny. But I took it to extremes. I was eating, like, one yoghurt a day. But I looked f**king amazing.

"That was the problem - I didn't think that I was anorexic. The problem is, it's not natural to be a size zero. I love food - I couldn't do without it - so I started eating properly again."

She also opened up about her cosmetic procedures, saying: "I first had (Botox) back in 2009, after I'd had lipo, and it was just the best idea ever. I'm really pleased.

"I was really worried that I would end up with frown lines, like my mum. I think Botox is a good thing.

"I had lipo when I was 24. I always wanted it, ever since I was, like, 16 or 17, because I hated my body. So I begged my mum for lipo, and in the end she was like, 'Well, if it's going to make you happy.' It's the best thing I ever did."

She also reckons the reason she didn't make The X Factor final was because she was 'too annoying and weird'.

"I'm just such a f**king weird person," she said. "I'm too weird for The X Factor."

"I'm extremely annoying. But I'm also very passionate and professional. And you can't have one without the other."

But there was one thing she was remaining tight-lipped about: her meeting with Lady Gaga.

"What she said to me was private and personal and not to whore out to the press," she said

"But she was very inspirational; she gave me a lot of career advice. We got f**king wrecked in her dressing room. It was funny. But it's private - [otherwise] it's star-f**king."

Shamed Frankie Cocozza may have given the impression that he wanted to sleep with everything in sight during his time on The X Factor, but it seems there is one woman safe from his, um, charms.

The talent show's resident bad lad has admitted be wouldn't dare try it on with judge Tulisa because he's scared of her!
Speaking in this week's heat magazine, Frankie revealed he has the hots for her rival Kelly Rowland, but wouldn't want to date the N-Dubz singer.

"I wouldn't have the bottle to try it on with Tulisa," he said. "She's fierce as f**k. She's really scary!"

The 19 year-old - who also admitted in the interview he didn't sleep with fellow contestant Amelia Lily - didn't exactly hold back about his bedroom antics.

Rating himself twelve-and-a-half in the sack, he revealed he's slept with 71 women since losing his virginity at the age of 12 and says that one of them falling pregnant would be 'the worst thing in the world'.

Frankie also believes he was 'embarrassed in front of the nation', as he knew he couldn't compete with the other contestants on the show.

"I knew I couldn't sing," he said. "I dealt with being embarrassed in front of the country by going out and getting wasted.

"I was really embarrassed by some of the clothes I was put in and the fact that I was dressed up to be a rock star. I just felt stupid."

Ah Frankie, you poor lamb.
