Would you believe it? Katie tweets Peter ahead of jungle return

It seems the unthinkable has happened in celebville! Katie Price has publicly communicated with Peter Andre, and for once it was a nice exchange!

As we reported earlier, Pete is on his way down under to be a panelist on ITV2's I'm A Celebrity Get... Me Out Of Here Now! and it seems his ex-wife has been giving him pointers about making a jungle comeback.
In a message on Twitter, the glamour model wished her ex-hubby the best for his trip, but also issued a warning.

She said: "Good luck in OZ and remember what I said."

WOW.

Katie famously returned to the place where the couple first found love for a second stint in 2009, so perhaps she has been telling him how the jungle has changed.

Either that or telling him a list of things he can't say about her.

Either way, we're feeling a little bit perturbed at the thought of Katie and Peter being nice to one another again.

The Sun TV Buzz

When Olly Murs told us last week he had a surprise up his sleeve for his X Factor performance, we never imagined it would be as good as this.

Olly is set to team up with The Muppets when he performs his new single, Dance With Me Tonight on Sunday night's results show.

Kermit, Miss Piggy and the gang are taking to the stage, and as far as Eleven can remember, they'll be the first puppets to appear on the show.

That is unless you believe every contestant in X Factor history has been a puppet of Simon Cowell's.
Anyway, Olly has been telling The Sun's Buzz magazine about how excited he is to perform with the loveable creatures.

"After a fun few months as a presenter, I'm really excited about getting back on the stage", he said. "I'm so pleased with the single and am itching to perform it."

Jessie J is also confirmed to perform this weekend, and the X Factor finalists will also be debuting their charity single, Wishing On A Star with JLS and One Direction in aid of ACT and Children's Hospices UK.

Stefanie is first out of the I'm A Celeb jungle

Stefanie Powers last night became the first star to exit the I'm A Celebrity jungle after losing out in the first public vote off.

Not that the American actress was bothered... in fact, she made a point of declaring herself "delighted" and insisted she's got "so much to do".

The bossy Hart To Hart star made her presence felt early on but with Antony's bitching, Tedward-gate and Sinitta's screaming taking centre stage, she soon faded into the background.

In her post-jungle interview with Ant and Dec, Stefanie revealed she had done what she went in to do, saying, "I came in here for two reasons. To be a poster girl for survivors of lung cancer, and to raise awareness for charity."

The diplomatic US star refused to say anything bad about her fellow campmates, even gushing about the giant strides Sinitta has made with her phobia of, um... everything.
The night before the first elimination, the celebs gathered for their final meal together and each gave a heartfelt speech about their time in the jungle.

In the Bush Telegraph after dinner, Stefanie added, "We all have this connection, and this connection will carry on way beyond being in here."

We think that's what you call getting caught up in the moment.

Russell Grant reveals what the stars have in store for this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants

No X Factor judge is safe... except Louis

This year's revamped X Factor judging panel was always going to take some getting used to but even Simon Cowell must admit it hasn't been entirely successful.

And now, after weeks of onscreen rowing and tension, it seems no judge is safe. Well... except for Louis Walsh.
According to The Mirror, the Irishman is the only judge to be guaranteed a seat on next year's panel, on account of being Simon's pal his industry expertise.

The paper suggests Gary Barlow, Kelly Rowland and Tulisa have yet to be offered a new deal and will have to wait five months to discover their X Factor fate.

But Simon has reportedly told Louis he can "plan for the next series if he wants to".

An insider told the tabloid, "Louis is the only judge who has been verbally offered a deal. Despite all the reports that he has been sacked, he is 100 per cent nailed on to be back - if he wants the job."

That's by no means definite, of course, but we've a sneaking suspicion there will be many more years of "it's all about the voice" and "you've got the likeability factor" still to come.

What do you think - does the X Factor need Louis Walsh and will the other judges survive another year? Comments below please...

The X Factor judges better up their game if they're to keep their jobs. Simon Cowell has already proved that he has no qualms about getting rid of the dead wood...

George Michael 'wakes up' in pneumonia struggle

Pneumonia-stricken singer George Michael is reported to have "woken up" in hospital yesterday, as it emerged that his condition was more serious than had been realised.

The 48-year-old was taken ill on Monday, just hours before he had been due to perform a concert in the Austrian capital Vienna.
He was initially looked after in a private home before his condition worsened and he was taken to the city's AKH hospital.

The Daily Mail quoted a friend of the star as saying: "George has woken up and he's in good spirits. Doctors are very pleased with him - and he's making progress.

"He's been in terrible pain. He's had a dreadful chest infection - but he's been in good care. He's in very capable hands."

The friend continued: "This is a very serious condition. It cannot be understated. George needs rest."

George is reported to be in a special suite at the hospital which is usually reserved for sick Austrian politicians or VIPs - and a special bed for pneumonia sufferers is claimed to have been provided to assist his breathing.

His reps have denied claims in the Austrian media that he is also suffering from a chest infection and heart problems.

George has been forced to postpone a string of dates on his Symphonica tour and he doesn't look likely to be returning to the stage in a hurry now.

Adrian and Christine 'demanded full payoff'

Daybreak duo Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley are reported to have told ITV bosses they wanted a full payout to cover the length of their contract if they left the troubled breakfast show early.

But The Mirror reports that the channel has called their bluff by threatening a two-year "career blackout" in which Adrian wouldn't get to present the football and Christine would not get to replace Holly Willoughby on Dancing On Ice.
The duo's management are claimed to have been in negotiations with ITV bosses since their exit from Daybreak was revealed last weekend.

A source was quoted as saying: "There have been some heated behind-the-scenes discussions. If their agent thought he could hold the channel to ransom then he's found that ITV actually holds the trump card. It has been quite fraught."

The BBC's Sian Williams has been mooted as a possible replacement for C-Bleakley, following concerns that a more newsy tone was required.

Adrian and Christine are expected to leave the show in the new year, once replacements have been secured - but ITV has denied threatening to take them off the air completely if it was held to full payment of their contracts - reported to be worth £2m apiece.

A spokesperson said: "Adrian and Christine are key members of the ITV family going forward. And we have an important, long-term relationship with them which we are expanding."

Is it just us or does that sound a bit like when David Cameron gives a minister his "full support"?

What do you think? Are they getting a rough deal? Comment below...

Lewis Hamilton: 'I still love Nicole'

Lewis Hamilton has dropped the biggest hint yet that he and Nicole Scherzinger could get back together, admitting he is still in love with the former Pussycat Doll.

The couple - who split last month after four years - have been holding reunion talks in the US, with Lewis admitting his desire to win back the X Factor USA judge to the press.

"It's very early days and we still have very strong feelings for one another. I still love her very much," he said.

The pair were pictured earlier this week sharing a hugely awkward hug in an LA car park, after Lewis flew out to America to attempt a reconciliation.
While Nicole flung her arms around Lewis, he stood with his hands in his pockets looking rather sorry for himself, which we thought meant all was not well.

However, he says he wasn't acting like a moody teenager, saying photographers just 'didn't catch them at the best of times'.

"What you didn't see is that we had a really good week, a couple of really nice lunches together. We had a really nice dinner together," he explained.

Could a reunion be on the cards? Watch this space...
