The Hoff confirms he's off but will Simon return to BGT? (VOTE)

David Hasselhoff has finally confirmed he will not be returning to the Britain's Got Talent judging panel.

Months of speculation began back in August when The Hoff was rumoured to have been axed from the show but, until now, there has been no official word from the man himself.
This week, however, the Baywatch star tweeted, "So it's official, I'm not coming back to Britain's Got Talent. So if you want to see me live come check me out in Bristol as Hoff the Hook in Peter Pan XXX."

He tactfully added, "Thanks to everyone who supported me on my Britain's Got Talent days. Nothing but fond memories of the cast and crew and thanks to Simon Cowell."

Well, you never know when you might need to call on Mr Nasty and his armoury of TV reality shows.

With Michael McIntyre also off the panel, there has been endless speculation as to who will be sitting alongside Amanda Holden next year.

David Walliams, Katherine Jenkins, Paul O'Grady, Dannii Minogue and Samantha Womack have all been touted as possible replacements... but it seems Simon Cowell's got his own idea.

He'd like to bring himself back.

According to today's Mirror, the TV mogul is worried about falling British ratings (with good reason, as it happens) and plans to return, possibly with Barbara Windsor in tow (random).

Would you like to Simon back on BGT?

An ITV insider told the paper, "Simon wants to make it the biggest, most successful series yet. His presence will be a guaranteed ratings winner as he is so popular with viewers."

A spoilsport spokesman refused to confirm the news, saying, "There's been a lot of speculation. We will announce the line up soon."

Who would you like to see on the BGT panel next year? Leave your suggestions below...

Has Mike Tyson got the X Factor?

Is there no end to Mike Tyson's talents?

Since hanging up his boxing gloves the heavyweight champ has turned his very large hands to acting (yeah, yeah, he played himself in The Hangover but he still had to learn his lines), pigeon keeping (I kid you not) and errrm, veganism. I guess munching on Evander Holyfield's ear put him off meat for life then.

Now he's added 'singer' to his CV after popping up on Brazilian telly performing The Girl From Ipanema.
He even donned a white suit and panama hat for the occasion, which I'm sure you'll agree sets that facial tattoo off a treat.

But is he any good? Well, I'll leave that up to you to decide... Enjoy!

Will you be putting Mike Tyson through?

Anthony Cotton labelled 'nasty piece of work' by former Corrie co-star

While Anthony Cotton has been causing rumbles in the jungle with Fatima, there'll be rows at the Rovers when he gets home if former Corrie actor John Thomson has his way.

The ex-Coronation Street star has blasted his old work mate, branding him 'a nasty piece of work'.
As the Cold Feet star watched last night's show, which saw Anthony taking part in a challenge where he had to be mean to his fellow campmates, John tweeted:

"Antony you nasty piece of work you are doing yourself no favours. Antony Cotton - the truth will out!!"

When asked by a fan if Anthony behaved like that while the pair worked together on the ITV1 soap, John said he was 'Trouble with a capital T'.

And John - who played The Street's Jesse Chadwick - didn't stop there, continuing his tirade against the actor.

When one of his followers tired to explain the conditions of the jungle were tough, he responded by saying he didn't behave like that when he appeared on challenge show 71 Degrees North tweeting:

"No excuse, I didn't turn on any one in Norway," before adding "Antony just go. Do us all a favour."

And if that wasn't enough, he then retweeted a comment from another user which said: "Antony Cotton. What a Miserable old fadge. Time he left the jungle."

That's him off the Christmas card list then.

Lady Gaga: 'My boyfriends always end up hating me'

She's one the most successful female pop artists of the modern era but Lady Gaga doesn't have a lot of luck when it comes to the opposite sex.

In her latest interview, with Vanity Fair, the bonkers songstress has been pondering the reason for her succession of Bad Romances, saying, "I have never felt truly cherished by a lover.

"I have an inability to know what happiness feels like with a man."

She went on, "I have this effect on people where it starts out good. The attraction is initially there and it's all unicorns and rainbows. And then they hate me."

Oh dear... doesn't bode well for current BF Taylor Kinney, although the start of their relationship was more mermaids and torture than unicorns and rainbows.
Nevertheless, why is it that the Lady can't find a good man? She's rich, successful, not too fussy.

The singer puts it down to her "effortless" creativity intimidating the poor fellas.

But we've got another theory... and the clue's in Gaga's very own words.

Speaking about a marriage proposal from one smitten lover, Gaga said, "How f****** romantic, you a*****e.

"Sure, pop a ring on my finger and make it all better. I can buy myself a f****** ring."

Yup, there go the unicorns and rainbows.

She added, "I had a man say to me, 'You will die alone in a house bigger than you know, with all your money and hit records'."

We're guessing it was the same man.

What do you think - does Gaga's creativity intimidate men? Leave a comment below...

X Factor hopefuls want Tulisa in the Mix

We're less than two weeks away from the X Factor final and the hopefuls are already turning their attention to who their new onstage BFF might be.

But while others are dreaming of musical icons and singing legends, Little Mix are looking no further than the judges' desk.
At the premiere of Hugo on Monday, the X Factor girlband were asked who they would like to join them should they make it to the final and, without hesitation, yelled, "Tulisa!"

Jesy explained, "She is so passionate about us. We're so close to her and I just love her to pieces."

Aww... sweet.

Sadly, Tulisa's not keen. According to The Sun, she's worried about performing in front of the baying X Factor audience it might cause a rift with fellow judges Gary Barlow and Kelly Rowland, and/or break the rules.

Oh well, looks like pop sensation Jessie J will have to do.

Jesy added, "She's amazing. She gave us some cool advice. She's been there with Tulisa from day one."

Little did she realise she'd be Little Mix's second choice.

Remember Gamu Nhengu from last year's X Factor? You know, the one who Cheryl didn't take through to the live shows and there was all that controv?

Well, you may also recall that soon after her X Factor exit, she faced deportation from the UK following a Home Office investigation into benefit claims by her family.

A court has now ruled that Gamu and her mother and two brothers will not have to return to Zimbabwe after they won an appeal to overturn the Home Office's original ruling.
The Nhengu family lawyer said in a statement: "This has come after such a long ordeal. The Home Office has a last resort appeal right to the Court of Session, but I hope they respect the judgement made today.

"My client has been granted leave to remain in the UK so now she and her family are able to get on with their lives and put this behind them."

A UK Borders Agency spokesman commented: "We are disappointed with the court's decision in this case and will be looking closely at the judgement.

"The UK Border Agency considers every case carefully and where we do not believe someone has the right to stay in the country, and they do not require our protection, we expect them to return home."

Jordan, sorry, Amy Childs launches her new TV show

When it comes to shameless self promotion, Katie Price is queen. In fact, I'm surprised she hasn't tried to copyright the very notion itself, which is a shame because she could be raking in even more cash in copyright claims now Amy Childs is nicking all her ideas.

Since she left TOWIE, it seems Amy has been following Pricey's Guide to Fame and Fortune (unavailable in all good book shops) to the letter. And it helps she's giving a proportion of her royalties to being guided by Katie's old manager, Claire Powell too, of course.
She's already ticked the calendar and clothing line off the list and next up is her very own fly-on-the-wall TV show, All About Amy. And how did she choose to launch it? By getting her kit off, obvs.

So far, so Jordan, right? Well, no, not according to Amy.

"People say Kate and I are quite alike but we're going in totally different directions," she told OMG. "She's into horse riding I'm into table tennis. D'ya know what I mean?"

Errrrm, that'll be a no.
