Bearing in mind the sex book, the raunchy videos and the barely there stage outfits of days gone by, we never had Madonna down as the shy and retiring type.But she's clearly not the happy-go-lucky gal she once was because her people have insisted that a selection of old diaries be pulled from an internet auction.The man behind the eBay auction apparently bought the 12 journals in a blind auction along with a variety of other Madonna-related items and looked set to bag himself a tidy sum from frantic bidders.
But according to TMZ he removed the listing on Monday morning after Madge's camp got all shirty and insisted that they were the rightful owners.
An eBay spokesperson confirmed that her 'people' had been in contact and that the auction had been pulled.
All of which suggests to us that there's something deeply juicy hidden within the pages of the diaries.
Not that it will do anything to ease the frustration of the seller who was looking at a minimum $2.5 million windfall.
