Diddy apologises over racial and homophobic insults

He's a multi-millionaire hip-hop mogul whose favourite topics of discussion are butlers and yachts, but Diddy has let himself down with some decidedly less refined verbiage.

The artist formerly known as Sean Combs, Puff Daddy, P Diddy and lots more has apologised for an angry outburst in a nightclub in Atlanta on Saturday in which he used racist and homophobic slurs.
He is reported by US gossip site TMZ to have thrown ice at a fellow clubgoer, threatened to fight the man and called him a n****r and a f****t.

Diddy has now tweeted: "I'm sorry for the ignorant way I repesented myself ... I have backslid and regressed. Forgive me for my ignorance. Pray for me pls. I know better and I am better.

"I have a responibility that I promise I will live up to. And I'm more dissapointed in myself than you know. I will humble myself and learn."

We left his spelling mistakes in, btw.

And TMZ has spoken to the man Diddy insulted, a certain Ricky Parker, who is quoted as saying that he felt "humiliated" and "disrespected" by Diddy.

He claims the Didster lost his rag because Ricky was drinking Grey Goose vodka rather than a brand that Diddy promotes.

Unsurprisingly, Ricky says he will not support Diddy in future.

Blimey, it's not as if Diddy has a reputation as a diva or anything, is it?

One Direction get their own dolls

Many of you young ladies out there will have probably had some inappropriate thoughts about the boys from One Direction. But now you really can take the lads home with you and act out all manner of situations with them.

If you're into miniature versions of them that is.

That's right, One Direction are releasing a range of dolls, just in time for Christmas.

One Direction get their own mini-me'sBig

Liam, Louis, Zayn, Harry and Niall have all been immortalised in plastic, and we have to hand it to the makers, it's a pretty uncanny resemblance.

They've nailed Harry's curls and Zayn's quiff, and in fact the likeness of Liam's doll is really starting to creep us out.

If you want to get your hands on a mini Direction, they are available from Amazon from 16th November or you can pre-order it now if you're really super keen on licking Harry's plastic face.

The good thing with these dolls is that they won't start dating beautiful women. Unless you have a Barbie of course. In which case you probably need to take a long, hard look at yourself.

What do you think of the One Direction dolls? Do you think they are as good looking as the real thing? Leave a comment below.

Not every celeb has a flattering plastic version of themselves. Just check out our gallery of celebrity waxworks.

Blake Lively and Leonardo DiCaprio split

Leonardo DiCaprio is single again after splitting from Gossip Girl Blake Lively.

The Hollywood couple enjoyed a glamorous five-month romance during which they lived an A-list dream in locations like Venice, Monte Carlo, Cannes, Portofino and, er... Disneyland.

But it seems no amount of jet-setting could keep them together and their representatives confirmed to Us Weekly magazine that they have now parted company.
Back in June there were rumours that the pair had already broken up but it seems the romance continued.

And just two months ago, Leo's pals were telling Us Weekly that Blake might be "the one".

She even wowed him with her home cooking and DiCaprio, who counts supermodels Bar Rafaeli and Gisele Bundchen among his exes, was said to be "smitten".

But apparently the way to an actor's heart is not through his stomach after all.

The split was, of course, totally amicable and, as expected, Blake and Leo will "remain friends".

What do you think - is Leo the confirmed bachelor type? Leave a comment below...

X Factor Craig sheds a stone on the Gary Barlow diet

X Factor finalist Craig Colton has reportedly lost a stone in just one week after Gary Barlow put his hopefuls on a high-protein diet.

The biscuit factory worker insisted that he wanted to lose weight and mentor Gary, who has famously battled with his own weight in the past, responded by sending round his personal nutritionist.

"It's strict, but I'm full of energy," Craig said of the low-carb eating plan. "I lost a stone in a week and more than a stone since being at the judge's house stage in Los Angeles."

According to fellow finalist Marcus Collins, the regime involves smoothies for breakfast and plenty of slow-release energy snacks like almonds.

But some are worried that Craig's losing too much too quickly.
Among them, one of Kelly's hopefuls, Sophie Habibis, who told The Sun: "Craig's been really working hard. I think he needs to take it easier."

Gary's rival judges are taking an entirely different stance - Tulisa reportedly cooked her groups a roast dinner while Louis Walsh told Sami Brookes not to slim down, insisting people like her because "she's real".

We're sure Gary has his youngsters' best interests at heart but after the exploitation row and Luke Lucas' breakdown, the last thing The X Factor needs an 'extreme diet' furore.

Ricky to host Golden Globes, even if he's not asked

Ricky Gervais has pledged that he will be presenting the Golden Globes again in 2012, even if he's not invited back after this year's controversial performance.

The comic is planning to do a simultaneous webcast so that fans can listen to him while watching the ceremony live on TV.
Writing in his Wall Street Journal blog, possibly from his swanky new NYC apartment, Ricky said: "Because of the greatest thing about our society, freedom of speech, I can still host the Golden Globes, or any event on the planet. I am working with a Californian technology company on a live webcast idea.

"People watch their TV at the same time as listening to me and a few chums provide our own alternative commentary. This is not to steal anyone's thunder, or disrupt pleasant society. It's simply a new horizon. And for its own sake.

"I don't think I should host the Golden Globes again, even if I'm asked and that is very unlikely, to be honest. NBC would like me to host again as they really loved my performance and they liked the growing ratings even more.

"Unfortunately, I think I may have burned my bridges with the Hollywood Foreign Press. I think it was something I said."

We reckon he should set his sights a bit higher and aim for the Oscars, or maybe he thinks he'll get that gig anyway.

What do you reckon? Would you listen to Ricky's webcast? Comment below...

Nancy in Strictly 'sabotage' mystery

Nancy Dell'Olio has cried foul play, claiming that her dress was sabotaged before her performance on Strictly Come Dancing at the weekend.

Bosses at the BBC are apparently investigating her claims that water was thrown over her mint green ballgown and its hemline ripped shortly before she was due to take to the floor on Saturday evening.
The 50-year-old Italian lawyer's frock was quickly dried and pinned-up but the incident left her shaken - and she thought it contributed to her rubbish performance and subsequent score of just 12 out of 40.

The Mirror quoted a show insider as saying: "The dress was hanging with all the others on the communal rail outside the dressing room area.

"After having her make-up done Nancy went to collect it and saw it had had water chucked all over it. It was drenched.

"Also the hem had been altered, it was fraying. Nancy was stunned. She was asking 'Whodunnit?' but no one had any answers. It was pretty strange.

"The wardrobe department tidied up the worst of the damage but it disarmed Nancy. She felt it badly hampered her dance."

What do you reckon? Is there a plot against Nancy or is she crying wolf? Comment below...

Gaga goes gaga for Mugler (VIDEO)

I have absolutely no idea what the heck Lady Gaga is going on about in this clip she made for the Mugler Paris Fashion Week show but who cares? It's fashion (daaaahhlink) so does it even matter?
The short video - made to accompany Mugler's Spring/Summer 2012 collection - sees Gaga, well, looking and sounding a bit loopy (so far, so Gaga) but could the singer be giving us a sneaky peek into some of next year's key trends?

Let's look at the evidence...

The Rainbow hair
And *adopts Cat Deely voiceover voice* swiiiiiiissssssshhhh.

Glow in the dark fake, wonky teeth
And I'm not talking about the Simon Cowell variety either. Illuminous veneers are like sooo last year.

Extra long finger nails
It's all about the talons. Manicurists across the land - be afraid. Very afraid.

Actualy, nah, I can't see it catching on. Stick to making music Gaga.
