If we were a celeb type needing to get places, we'd be riding around in a stretch limo and hopping on private jets while we slipped champers and nommed on smoked salmon.

Ok, we're getting slightly carried away now, but one thing we can say for definite is we certainly wouldn't be nestling into a sweaty commuter's armpit on a packed tube.

But the same can't be said for Rihanna who surprised passengers when she jumped on a Jubilee line train to get to her gig at the O2 in North Greenwich last night.
The star was in a rush to get to across London as she boarded the train at London Bridge at 6.45pm - just 15 minutes before Calvin Harris was due to open for her.

While on board, the Bajan beauty quite happily chatted to fans and posed for photos with them.

One tweeted, "I met @Rihanna on my way home, told her she was crazy for taking the tube she said 'Dunno how you guys do it'".

A source also told The Sun, "She was just like any other passenger, except accompanied by a huge entourage. She was happy to pose for snaps and talk about the gig. She was so down to earth."

But for anyone about to rave about how grounded she really is, you should probably know she was accompanied by 20 minders and once she got off the tube, she got in a car to take her the final 100m to the O2.

She was probably saving her energy for all that gyrating she had to do on stage later.

Paul O'Grady is being hotly tipped for a role on Britain's Got Talent after his ITV chat show was axed.

The Scouse comedian had been due to continue with a third series of Paul O'Grady Live but it has now been cancelled amidst rumours of disappointing ratings.

That does, of course, leave him open for a BGT job and Paul, who rubbished talk of rows with the broadcaster, has already hinted at an upcoming ITV project.

He told The Mirror: "I'm doing stuff for them next year, there's no fight. It's hunky dory. It's just I'm writing a book at the moment, I'm doing a play.

"I've got all manner on."
Speculation over who will sit beside Amanda Holden on the judging panel has been rife since Michael McIntyre quit, with both Katherine Jenkins and Kerry Katona offering their services.

O'Grady, on the other hand, has already turned down the job once this year.

In February he told The Sun that he was "tempted" by the offer of a judging position but "wouldn't be able to deal with seeing kids upset at getting buzzed and booed off".

ITV are clearly hoping he's had a change of heart and an insider told The Mirror: "Paul would be a great addition - he's a national treasure. He would no doubt prove to be hugely popular."

Of course, there are two spots available because The Hoff has reportedly already been axed... though apparently nobody told him.

In an interview with Absolute Radio, he said: "When the show was over, the last conversation I had with Simon [Cowell] before he sailed away was 'Darling, are you coming back?'.

"And I said, 'Absolutely'. So I'm coming back."

We wouldn't bank on it David.

Right, now we've got that out of the way we can go on to tell you that Sharon Osbourne has revealed the reason for her recent absence from US chat show The Talk - she was having her breast implants removed.
Explaining that she had to have the procedure carried out after one of her fake funbags burst, she said that she woke up one morning to discover that "one of my boobies was kind of much longer than the other".

She explained: "I went to a fabulous surgeon and she said to me, 'That boob there is leaking'...And it had leaked into the wall of my stomach. So all that, saying those silicones are lovely - not when it's floating over your whole stomach it's not!"

Sharon has previously said she would have her implants turned into paperweights for husband Ozzy when she had them removed, but she didn't reveal whether the sole surviving one would be used for that purpose.

First we must warn you not to read this if you happen to be eating - or of a delicate sensibility - because it may make distressing images appear in your head.

Right, now we've got that out of the way we can go on to tell you that Sharon Osbourne has revealed the reason for her recent absence from US chat show The Talk - she was having her breast implants removed.
Explaining that she had to have the procedure carried out after one of her fake funbags burst, she said that she woke up one morning to discover that "one of my boobies was kind of much longer than the other".

She explained: "I went to a fabulous surgeon and she said to me, 'That boob there is leaking'...And it had leaked into the wall of my stomach. So all that, saying those silicones are lovely - not when it's floating over your whole stomach it's not!"

Sharon has previously said she would have her implants turned into paperweights for husband Ozzy when she had them removed, but she didn't reveal whether the sole surviving one would be used for that purpose.

Britain and Ireland's Next Top Model winner Jade Thompson has truned down the chance of a romance with JLS star Oritse Williams - because she's already got a boyfriend.

The freckled beauty has revealed that Oritse has been chirpsing her via Twitter after seeing her on the telly modelling contest - despite the pair never having met.
Speaking to The Sun at the Mobo awards, she said: "He keeps messaging me things on Twitter like, 'You are so fit'. He wants to meet up. But I've got a boyfriend back in Stoke.

"I wanted to say hello when the band came off stage because he's a nice bloke and I haven't met him in person yet. But I'm really loved up with my man."

But the rejection didn't seem to dampen Oritse's enthusiasm for Jade, perhaps he thought she was just playing hard to get.

He was quoted as saying: "Jade is one of the hottest girls in the world right now. I'd definitely like her to join me on the dance floor at the afterparty if I was staying.

"She has the most beautiful face, her freckles are so cute. But she's quite tall - hopefully I wouldn't have to stand on a copy of Yellow Pages under the mistletoe."

We think he might be getting a bit ahead of himself.
