Simon Cowell starts tweeting

Everyone's favourite X Factor judge has finally joined the world of Twitter.

We've missed Simon Cowell's put downs since he left The X Factor over here, so we're glad we can soak up some of his dry wit now he's set up his own account on the micro blogging site.
Tweeting for the first time from his @SimonCowell username, he said: "It's official, I know it's taken a while. It's really me! We're live in 10 minutes. I'll keep you posted. Lots of love #iamsimon"

But unlike Twitter newbies, he didn't waste much time on pleasantries and started laying into his fellow judges on The X Factor USA.

He branded LA Reid 'mad' and said Paula Abdul looked like she was 'sucking on a lemon'.

However he reserved his best put downs for Piers Morgan after his former Britain's Got Talent colleague told him 'nobody was watching X Factor' in the US as they were watching his chat show instead.

"Look up the word deluded in your dictionary," Simon retorted.

One other thing we noticed is that Simon isn't following Cheryl Cole yet, nor is she following him. So perhaps they haven't made up after all.

After much speculation, Demi Moore has announced she is to divorce husband Ashton Kutcher.

The Hollywood couple have finally confirmed their intention to split after six years of marriage.
The pair had been at the centre of reports Ashton cheated on Demi with a 23 year-old on their sixth wedding anniversary in September.

In a statement Demi, 49, explained she had to stand by 'scared values', and had chosen to leave the 33 year-old Two and a Half Men star.

"It is with great sadness and a heavy heart that I have decided to end my six-year marriage to Ashton," she said.

"As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.

"This is a trying time for me and my family, and so I would ask for the same compassion and privacy that you would give to anyone going through a similar situation."

Posting a message to a blog, Ashton said: "I will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi.

"Marriage is one of the most difficult things in the world and unfortunately sometimes they fail. Love and Light, AK."

More as we get it.

Hold onto your hats ladies and gents... Nancy Dell'Olio is rumoured to be writing a sex guide.

According to The Sun, the Italian Strictly cast-off is planning to reveal her top tips for lovers with saucy snaps and frank advice.

The paper claims 50-year-old Nancy's sex tips for divas will be the first of three books, thought to be part of a £100,000 deal.
So what can we expect from her guide to romping? No, not how to become famous for sleeping with the England football manager... apparently dressing up, outdoor sex and the use of food between the sheets will all feature.

A source told The Sun, "Nancy's always wanted to write a lovers' guide-style book. She's very open about sex and thinks she can help couples spice up their relationships."

Sven-Goran Eriksson needn't worry though - Nancy reportedly plans to send him a copy for free.

Glamour girl Emily to sex up I'm A Celebrity?

PA

It's only week one and we've already had tension, rows and a dramatic departure but there's one thing missing from this year's I'm A Celebrity - romance.

Show bosses, ever hopeful of another Katie Price and Peter Andre style love story, were hoping Real Hustle star Jessica-Jane Clement and TOWIE's Mark Wright would provide the jungle fumbling.

But that was before Jessica dropped the bombshell that she was engaged to showbiz hairdresser Lee Stafford, new which left Mark Wright with nobody on which to work his Essex charms.

Step forward, lingerie model and ex-girlfriend of David Walliams, Emily Scott.

According to today's Sun newspaper, bosses hit the "emergency button" when it transpired that there'd be no love in the jungle and called Emily with a £30k offer.
A TV insider told the tabloid, "We rang her up and offered her the gig - and thankfully she accepted.

"Now we're crossing our fingers that she and Mark will find some, er, common ground."

Shouldn't be difficult - now that he's left TOWIE, Mark's career looks likely to take in every reality show going and it turns out Emily's something of a pro.

She's already done Celebrity Love Island, Dancing with the Stars in her native Australia and Cirque du Celebrité.

With a stint in the jungle under her belt, she just needs a spot on Celebrity Big Brother for the full set.

Russell Grant reveals what the stars have in store for this year's I'm A Celebrity contestants

Bieber baby claim woman 'busted by texts'

Filed under:

PA

The woman who claimed that she had a baby by Justin Bieber is reported to have been compromised by a friend who claims she begged him to delete text messages that confirmed somebody else was the dad.

US gossip site TMZ is claiming that Mariah Yeater this week sent a text to a friend making the request and promising him a cut "when we get paid".
The text apparently read, "Pleeease ERASE ALL MESSAGES from my mom where she says Tristyn is Robbies Son. ill kick u when we get paid. im trusting you pleeease. Mariah laci."

And it seems she had forgotten about some of the texts she had previously sent to the man, who was not named by TMZ - because another clearly implied that Biebs was not the dad.

It read, "Would you please stress to Robbie how important it is for him to be in his son's life?"

The friend in question has also apparently shared the information with Bieber's lawyer Howard Weitzman, who went on to issue a stern statement.

He said, "This information proves Mariah Yeater fabricated the story.

"Our independent investigation indicates Ms. Yeater never met Justin, she has consistently identified another man as the child's father, and Ms Yeater and her co-conspirators hatched this scheme in order to extort money from him and to sell her story to the media."

"There have been no settlement discussions and there never will be."

And since the lawsuit was already dropped, we have to admit it's certainly looking that way now.

What do you reckon? Will this be the end of the story? Comment below...
