Davina McCall has led tributes to her Biggest Loser co-star Angie Dowds after the fitness guru fell to her death.

The personal trainer is believed to have jumped from a cliff top near Eastbourne in East Sussex after her relationship with girlfriend Corrie Preece ended.
Davina expressed her sadness at Angie's death on Twitter posting, "Rest in peace Angie Dowds @angechops. So so sad."

The pair worked together on the ITV1 dieting show last year, when the show moved to prime-time and Davina replaced Kate Garraway as host.

The Daybreak presenter also left her own tribute to the trainer on her Twitter account.

"So sad about Angie Dowds. She found it so hard to see herself as the cool, inspiring, great woman that others saw and loved. RIP Darling xxx."

In an official statement, police have confirmed that the body of a 42-year-old woman has been found at the foot of cliffs in Beachy Head.

"Just after 4.30pm on Sunday members of the public reported that a woman was seen to jump or fall from the top of cliffs at Beachy Head.

"Coastguards found the body of a woman at the foot of the cliffs about an hour later.

"There are no suspicious circumstances and it is believed that the body may be that of a 42-year old woman from London.'

Angie, who had previously overcome a battle with drink and drugs, was named Personal Trainer of the Year at the International Fitness Showcase Awards in 2006.

These Daybreak bosses really need to make their minds up.

After it was announced that Christine Bleakley and Adrian Chiles had been axed from the show, talk of their replacements soon started.

Originally Natasha Kaplinsky was in the frame to replace Christine, then bosses said they were after an unknown face, and now they're apparently chasing BBC Breakfast's Sian Williams.
The BBC presenter, who is departing BBC Breakfast after it was announced the show would move to Manchester, is said to have been made a formal offer by ITV to bolster ratings on their struggling morning show.

Bosses hope that she will bring the 'news gravitas' they believed Christine lacked.

"If ITV managed to lure her away, it would be a huge coup," a source told The Sun.

We have a feeling this one could run and run.

It appears that the sure-fire way to win The X Factor is to duet with a certain pint-sized pop princess, after a British teenager won Australia's version of the show.

Reece Mastin followed in the footsteps of the UK's Leon Jackson (remember him?) by winning the show - which features our very own Mel B and Ronan Keating as judges - after a performance with Kylie Minogue.
The teenager who moved to Austrailia from Scunthorpe at the age of 10, wowed the Aussie public with his rendition of Kids with Kylie to win the recording contract.

"I am so grateful to have been given this opportunity to do what I love and to work with some amazing people," he said on his Facebook page.

"Most of all I would like to thank you all for your love and support."

He's now set to release winning single Good Night, before he attempts to establish himself as a rocker.

Perhaps he could give Frankie Cocozza a lesson or two?

X Factor singer Marcus Collins has reportedly been left stunned after receiving an abusive phone call in the early hours of the morning.

Today's Sun newspaper reports that the talent show favourite was called at 2.30am on Tuesday and subjected to a torrent of racist and homophobic abuse.

Marcus picked up the early morning call believing it to be a friend but got a rude awakening instead.

An insider explained, "The voice on the other end of the line was just full of hate and spewed all sorts of racist and anti-gay abuse.

"He was saying, 'You don't deserve to be on the show. Who do you think you are?' and calling him every name under the sun."
The Scouse hopeful alerted X Factor bosses but decided against calling the cops, believing the low-life caller may be known to him.

The source added, "He has an idea of who it might have been and is going to try to find out if his hunch is correct. Fortunately for him, he's no shrinking violet so can take it."

Let's hope the haters don't put Marcus off his stride - with two songs to perform this weekend, a departure from the upbeat classics is rumoured to be on the cards and Gary has promised to "unleash the voice" of his only remaining act.

It's true! The inevitable is happening.

Peter Andre is about to return to the I'm A Celebrity jungle... and yes, it's going to be "emotional".

Unless you have been living in the outback for the last eight years, you will be aware that Peter first met Katie Price in the Aussie jungle, giving reality TV its greatest real-life romance.
The rest, as they say, is very well-documented history.

But don't get too excited people... Pete won't be putting himself through two weeks of jungle hell, he's just popping in for a flying visit.

Unlike Katie, who endured a solid week of Bushtucker Trials two years ago, Peter is due to feature on the spin-off show, I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here Now!

Rumour has it though, that he'll be making a brief jungle appearance himself.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, Andre said, "I'm on the ITV2 panel for three days, but I'm here for four days. They are not telling me what's happening on the other day."

Should that mystery day include actual jungle antics, Pete is fully prepared to get his hands dirty.

"Why not go in there and do a trial?" he went on. "I wouldn't mind going in there, as long as I'm not competing. I'd definitely drop in there for a day or two to have some fun."

Whatever happens, we reckon there will be some moist-eyed reminiscences because Pete added, "It's been emotional to return here.

"I had some mixed feelings yesterday. I've been back to Australia since the jungle, but never back there... The last time I came here single, I ended up walking out and getting married.

"This time I'm going to try and stay single."

We might not get another true love story but we are looking forward to Pete chatting to Mark Wright... now there's a meeting of minds.

Pop star George Michael has been forced to cancel a string of concerts after being diagnosed with pneumonia and confined to a hospital bed.

The former Wham! singer, aged 48, is being treated in the Austrian capital Vienna - where he was set to perform on Monday.
As well as Monday's gig, George has also been forced to pull dates in Strasbourg and Cardiff this week. They will all be rescheduled at a later date.

Austrian concert promoter Manfred Leodolter told the press there: "George Michael is still in Vienna. Doctors have warned him for the moment against flying and he is getting rest in Vienna."

Last month George had to cancel one of his sell-out dates at the Royal Albert Hall due to illness, with a viral infection being blamed at the time.

Get well soon George!

George was recently ranting about the "pathetic" gay storyline in EastEnders.

Police are investigating after a GPS tracking device was found attached to the underside of Katie Price's car.

The model-turned-reality TV personality was the subject of an apparent kidnap plot last year, and the discovery of the device under her bubblegum pink Range Rover has sparked fresh concerns for her safety.
She told The Mirror, "The garage had my car on a ramp during a routine MOT and spotted this tracker. The car was last serviced on August 16, so I know someone's been snooping around my property and shoved it on between then and now.

"Because I had a kidnap threat at the beginning of the year, we're wondering if it could be related. Basically it meant whoever planted it knew exactly where I was at all times and could then follow me, possibly with a view to kidnapping me. It's terrifying.

"Luckily the device had a security number, so the police are looking into that to see where it was bought and, hopefully, find out who's responsible."

It's probably not the News of the World for once though, because the paper had closed in July.

The original "kidnap threat" came when police were led to suspect that she was being targeted by the same gang that had held Alex Gerrard captive at knifepoint as they robbed her and Liverpool captain hubby Steven's home.

It's not been a good year for KP, because in addition to her ongoing kidnap fears she's split up with hubby Alex Reid, split up with toyboy Leandro Penna AND been targeted by fraudsters for £15k.

Adele is planning a triumphant return to the stage after undergoing throat surgery by making an appearance on this year's X Factor final.

The singer is said to have committed to performing at the Wembley Arena final before she suffered a vocal hemorrhage in October, and is resting up in preparation for her big comeback where she will duet with one of the finalists.
A source told The Sun she was looking forward to performing in front of the 10,000 strong crowd and millions of viewers at home.

"Her management said this week she is still planning to make it. It's amazing news for fans and viewers," they said.

It is thought she will sing with either Amelia Lily or Marcus Collins if they make the final, with Coldplay teaming up with Janet Devlin. Michael Bublé is also due to perform with one of the finalists.

Adele is said to be recovering well from her recent surgery, which took place in a US hospital. Posting in her blog this week, she said:

"I'm doing really well, on the mend, super happy, relaxed and very positive with it all. The operation was a success and I'm just chilling out now until I get the all clear from my doctors."

Hurrah for that!

Justin Bieber has finally broken his silence over accusations that he's the father of a four month old son.

The teen star appeared on David Letterman's US chat show where he confirmed he'd taken a paternity test and referred to Mariah Yeater - the woman who has accused the singer of fathering her son - as a 'weasel'.
"I think I could smell a weasel a little bit," he said.

"It's pretty crazy how people make up false accusations. But I'm 17 - it's gonna happen, being in the spotlight. People can say whatever."

Mariah Yeater claims to have fallen pregnant after an alleged backstage encounter with the star in Los Angeles in October 2010. She is now to submit baby Tristyn for a DNA test.

Cheryl Cole has been getting all misty-eyed about her X Factor days with a tweet about how proud she is of her former protégés.

La Cole took to Twitter to congratulate Rebecca Ferguson and Cher Lloyd following their recent success - only thing is she forgot to include Katie Waissel who has been busy with her newly formed band Red Velvet Lovers.

Awkward.

Cheryl said: "Feels like I've blinked and we're back in November, its been a crazy year. So proud of what my girls have achieved @CherLloyd and @RebeccaFMusic are doing so well!!"

But Katie styled the snub out nicely, replying to Cheryl, "Ouch lol @RedVelvetLovers #rocknroll".

While Katie was shocked at the snub, someone who will be flabbergasted Cheryl has even acknowledged her existence is Cher Lloyd.

Cher has previously branded the friendship she had with Cheryl during The X Factor as an act after she failed to get in contact when the show ended.

And when your past lovers have included Brad Pitt and Simon Cowell, we (and the rest of the celebrity camp) were all ears.

Asked by model Emily Scott what the Hollywood heartthrob looked like naked, Sinitta replied: "Hot. He was beautiful with the most amazing body. I saw him for two years."
She then joked that Brad's manhood was 'much bigger' than fellow celeb Dougie Poynter's.

"Brad was fun," she said. "He was young and sweet. An ardent fan slapped me over that relationship.

"It was before he made Thelma & Louise but even I saw that movie and thought, 'oh, God, what have I done?'"

But she was less forthcoming about Simon Cowell. Asked by Dougie who was better in bed, she simply said 'who do you think?'

We never had Anita Dobson down as a diva type, but she's caused a whole lot of kerfuffle over at the BBC after refusing to have a picture taken when she wasn't wearing any make-up.

All Strictly Come Dancing stars have been banned from a show on BBC Radio 5Live after bosses were left peeved when Anita declined to have a photo taken with one of the show's presenters.
Anita was appearing on the station's breakfast show when she turned down the photo opp.

However, the request left Strictly bosses fuming, who called the show's editor to complain.

Talk about an overreaction.

However, 5Live then played a trump card by refusing to talk about the dance show again, and said they would be discussing rival reality shows The X Factor and I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! instead.

A Strictly insider hit back at the radio station's behavior, telling The Sun:

"If 5Live don't want to talk about the biggest show on TV then that's up to them. I'm sure many of their rivals would happily lap up the interview opportunities."

A Strictly insider hit back at the radio station's behavior, telling The Sun:

"If 5Live don't want to talk about the biggest show on TV then that's up to them. I'm sure many of their rivals would happily lap up the interview opportunities."

We never had Anita Dobson down as a diva type, but she's caused a whole lot of kerfuffle over at the BBC after refusing to have a picture taken when she wasn't wearing any make-up.

All Strictly Come Dancing stars have been banned from a show on BBC Radio 5Live after bosses were left peeved when Anita declined to have a photo taken with one of the show's presenters.
Anita was appearing on the station's breakfast show when she turned down the photo opp.

However, the request left Strictly bosses fuming, who called the show's editor to complain.

It seems the unthinkable has happened in celebville! Katie Price has publicly communicated with Peter Andre, and for once it was a nice exchange!

As we reported earlier, Pete is on his way down under to be a panelist on ITV2's I'm A Celebrity Get... Me Out Of Here Now! and it seems his ex-wife has been giving him pointers about making a jungle comeback.
In a message on Twitter, the glamour model wished her ex-hubby the best for his trip, but also issued a warning.

She said: "Good luck in OZ and remember what I said."

WOW.

Katie famously returned to the place where the couple first found love for a second stint in 2009, so perhaps she has been telling him how the jungle has changed.

Either that or telling him a list of things he can't say about her.

Either way, we're feeling a little bit perturbed at the thought of Katie and Peter being nice to one another again.
